The Devonshire House Hotel  

Surprisingly nice, set in the midst of gardens and a character house. Nice size room, great shower. Friendly staff. Location handy to city centre. Safe and free car parking. Also close to bus routes and Edge Hill railway station not too far away to walk.

Food quality in restaurant not great.

The staff were very friendly . On the 2nd day when we went for breakfast they were really busy but they did a great job and the waitresses were professional and remained smily x

The bed was on wheels and moved all the time. The room was a bit scruffy.

Stayed for a wedding those of us on the third floor found the rooms very cold. Lower floors were fine as we had other people staying on those floors.

Very good value for the money. Don't be expecting anything grand, but the rooms and hotel are clean, staff helpful and lovely gardens.

The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was enjoyable.

On Saturday evening we ordered dinner from the hotel bar to be sent up to our room. When finished, I phoned reception to ask for the used plates to be collected - this was not done and the plates were still lying outside our room door at 11am on the Sunday morning when we checked out.

entrance was hidden behind an old delapidated building (the old hotel I think), would be better if this was cleaned up - hotel generally quite dated and in need of a refurb

The only down side bathroom soap and hand soap where empty on all three days.

This isthe 3rd time at this hotel , staff very good & friendly . Vale for money . Well situated for the Liverpool areas visits and sites .

The hotel was ideally located. It represented a cost effective stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly.

The bed was like lying on a slab of concrete, very old and uncomfortable. The hotel needs to address this issue quickly, and replace the beds for a comfortable nights sleep.

A short bus ride into city centre & approx £4.50 taxi fare. Very friendly staff.

We arrived approx 8pm, room toilet would not flush, had to use toilet's near reception. Plumber fixed problem next morning. Carpets in main corridor are tired looking, small strips peeling back, stuck down with tape.

Very friendly staff,I came to Liverpool for a wedding so was only looking for a comfortable hotel in a convenient location (to the city center).I also wanted somewhere safe to park my car.The Devonshire moor than met my needs and I will stay again and recommend to friends.Thank you.

The price was right, staff were friendly and helpful.

The beds are very uncomfortable. We complained and were moved to another room without any difficulty but unfortunately we still had a very uncomfortable bed and mattress.
