Ease of booking in, friendly staff and cleaniness of room. Thinking I had booked B&B, only to be told on arrival that breakfast was going to cost me £9.50. Suffice is to say, I did not have breakfast. |

The first room they allocated to me was like a prison cell. No blinds, no bedside lamps. The hotel was empty and they still put me in a grotty room! I aksed to be moved and they put me into a better room, however, the TV didn't work properly and the bathroom was a bit mouldy. |

It is our second stay at this hotel and we can't really fault it for the money. Very clean and comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful and flexible. The grounds are lovely too. |

Nice garden. Useful having the petrol station nearby where we could buy snacks. |

Liked the quietness and peaceful ambiance during our stay. Also the breakfast was good. The price also was very good and one of the main reasons we stayed here. It's proximity to the city centre is also quite good with a short taxi ride getting you there. Some electical units in the rooms looked a little unstable. A pin missing from the plug of the hair dryer rendered it useless (for the missus). Some bedside drawers were not sliding properly and had collapsed on to the drawer beneath them |

your site confirmed my stay but when i reached there it turn out to be only 3 days although i booked for 5 nights, and later after two days of stay further stay is continued bcoz of the few cancellations. Room quality was poor.... really poor. |

Excellent welcome from reception staff, very clean and tidy rooms as we had a double and a twin, breakfast was spot on, plenty of everything to suit us all and staff were lovely and friendly. Would recommend a stay to any one. |

The staff were very helpful and the surroundings attractive. Ideal as a one-nighter- stopover for a football match as we were doing and the hotel was much better than we had expected. Thank you. I am afraid the TV did not work very well; even the manager couldn't resolve the problem. And the bed could do with a new mattress! Also a couple of easy chairs in the room would not go amiss. Otherwise all fine. |

The hotel was basic but a decent place to spend the night. The surrounding area was very run down. |

Very friendly staff (especially bar) Free wifi (a little slow but adequate for email etc) freeview box in room so good digital pictures on tv. Well landscaped gardens. Good parking. Facility of leaving car and getting local cab into town during the day if required. Nice large room (Double) Lots of niggly little things broken in room - basin tap head, shower handset cracked and spraying out. Toilet seat hinges loose - all small things but adding up to the appearance of lack of upkeep? which is a shame. Could have just been unlucky with the room? |

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was gorgeous. The room was spacious and beyond our expectations. |
