Value for money. Friendly staff. Clean facilities.
Hotel could do with a little updating in places.
this is the second time i have used this hotel will use again
The room was warm and clean
The breakfast cereal and range was limited
Breakfast was ok but needs improvement, sorry to say I will not be back
OMG worst hotel ever stayed in. First room was smelly, the paint was flaking off the walls, bed was smaller that I booke, the carcarpet was not even stuck to the floor and the roof had the many leak marks I thought I was gonna wake up wet. Second was ok but felt sick when I seen someone else is hair on the pillows.
Bed was comfy
Door key wasn't working, nose from people coming in.early hours of morning. Room too hot. Shower poor.
How ckose attractions were, size of the room, warm and comfy
The breakfast staff were ace. Super friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make breakfast a great experience. The breakfast itself was pretty tasty too and cooked fresh which is great.
Basically everything else. The room was large but had water-damaged/mouldy ceiling tiles. There was a woodlouse in the bathroom. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and also pretty narrow. Loud guests on the first AND second night. Empty shower gel container in the bathroom and no door lock in there. Tracing-paper style toilet paper. Slight draft from the window only slightly masked by the heat of the radiator. Poor internet connection. Only one bedside table. Fake eyelash left in the one bedside drawer from previous guests.
It was fairly quiet and we did have tea/coffee facilities in the room along with a TV. That's about it really.
The room was just average and we were surprised that the bathroom window didn't have a blind/curtain, even though there was evidence one had been there. The decor was poor, especially the bathroom.
Staff nice. Location for me was ideal. Cost is cheap.
Food Fried all the time, or nuked in a microwave. Nothing cooked fresh. Chips and peas with everything. No variety. Wallpaper hanginging off walls. 1980's decor. This is a cheap hotel and very tired looking. Needs a complete overhaul, and updating.
Room was large and wifi good
No remote control for TV, decoration basic and ceiling tiles stained, head board needs replacing, bed slides away from wall, shower head loose and points towards wall, shelf in bathroom slopes, tap leaks, needs retiling , no bottled water
Staff are great and helpful. Food is great and location although a little outside the city center gave us a good challenge to reach the city center by walk.
We were in quite a large room, the furniture was a dated and needed repair but for 1 night it was fine nice gardens and grounds
No kettle in room needed to ask at reception
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Cheap weekend away
The place came across as not very well maintained. 3 out of 4 of the bulbs in the bathroom didn't work and only 2 in the bedroom did. Bare electrics in the hallway too. Not as clean as you'd expect.
Stayed with a group of friends for 1night for birthday weekend, there was 7 of us altogether, the hotel placed the rooms as close as they could, (2 rooms apart) but rooms where big enough for all 7 of us to get ready in. hotel is a bit dated but for a night or two when your doing something in the center of Liverpool its great value - taxi to and from Liverpool was £5-£7, overall would recommend and I would stay here again
Location, free parking & wi-fi
Free and reliable WiFi. Lovely cooked breakfast. Loads of free parking. Clean.
Bed was uncomfortable and pillows thin but there were more positives
Location and the price.
Quality of the food.
on booking it said you get a free complimentary drink on arrival which we never got. the bar did not open until 5 0'clock. we went out to watch a show on our return before 11 0'clock the bar was closed a group of youngsters were in there ( a band we were told) it states bar is open till midnight.
excellent friendly staff quiet and comfortable.
the shower head fell off the wall.
I liked the staff politeness and the quality of the breakfast and the variety at breakfast aswell
I didn't like the movement of the beds when u sat on them they over from underneath you and there was dampness in our bathroom
