The staff were friendly, reception, room and general hotel were clean and tidy, i can't comment on the breakfast tho as i'm a lazy g*t and don't usually get up till lunch time, hence why i booked the hotel for 2 nights knowing i was only staying 1 (i just didn't want us to have to get up early to have to leave the room as we were out the night before) ha. The hotel is a bit further from town than stated on some internet sites, one i seen said 0.5 miles from city centre, yet it cost around £7:00 in a taxi. (A fact i already knew, luckily) Would recommend to others. 8.5/10 Further from town than stated, but otherwise,, all good. |

Set in nice grounds within easy reach of Liverpool City Centre with an interesting History of the bulidings No Staff in the Dining area for Breakfast 8.30am Waited 5 Mins then sat myself down. Staff eventually came out from kitchen and asked for room number and did not say good morning or offer me tea or coffee. Staff wearing overalls/Waterproofs entering didning area and helping themselves to food from the trays. Possible hygiene issue? |

The staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel is well presented with nice surroundings and there is no unwanted noise from nearby streets. I liked the explanation of the history of the building the hotel now occupies. The breakfast was edible, but not great and certainly not value for money. A 2.30pm check in might not suit everyone either. |

The grounds around it . The window in my room couldnt be opened . there was no wardrobe and no table and chairs to sit down at . the toilet took ages to flush and the cleanliness of the room was very poor. The decor was very old fashioned . |

The hotel was convieniently located, situated away from traffic, i views of the garden were pleasent. on arriving and checking in, the building looked very moden, but was very disappointed when to were left to find your room how everything became very old and dated along with a strong smell of cigarettes, i thought that breakfast would be part of the price and also thought the price you were asking for breakfast was very high. |

It was in a prime location for my partner and I with spending our weekend away. We had one bad experience as there was some sort of fashion show going on and there were people above us who were extremely noisy and kept us awake until 4am. I had to complain to reception about it. It was quickly resolved though! |

The bathroom was well maintained and very clean and the outside garden was very pleasing to look at and managed to take some nice photos outside the hotel. |

It was walking distance to our destination for the day. No bed sheets, no head board, no curtains, lumpy pillows, terrible restaurant food - (sirloin definitely not) steak was a piece of leather and tinned peas still swimming in water, rude incompetent restaurant staff, flat beer, party and loud music until 1am (no double glazed windows) and people shouting outside our window until 5am. |
