Staff were lovely, Breakfast super for the price. No hassle stay. :)
Rooms a little tired but clean. Shower was not powerful, but did the job and could get lovely and hot... so no big issues really.
We found the hotel very good for us as it was near our family. It was comfortable, quiet and good value and the staff were friendly.
Fast friendly Service very good, breakfast good value.
Double room too small and no air conditioning.
Lovely room. Good food.
The bed (superking and very comfortable). The room was ample with everything we needed, including WiFi, tea making facilities. The room itself and the towels and bed linen were generally very clean. Breakfast pretty good for the price. The manager was very helpful, friendly and always available.
The spare chair in the corner of the room had two or three large stains on it that looked very much like blood. Could not understand why it had not been removed. Impossible that the cleaner had not noticed it. The shower was just a hand held shower over the bath. Just about adequate I suppose but not great.
Nice, pleasant and convenient place for a stop over.
I was on a business trip so the location was very convenient. The staff was very helpful.
It was in a quiet situation and the staff and breakfast were excellent. We liked the free parking and Wi-Fi. It was very clean
I thought I had booked a twin room but we only were given a standard double bed which we are not used to so we did not sleep at all well. The shower was so small it was difficult to turn round in it.
The staff were friendly.
The room was tiny and I believe too expensive. The shower was barely a trickle. The room was hot as it was up in the rafters. The breakfast was average.
Warm welcome of staff. They were keen to be helpful.
I couldn't tune in the TV.
Relaxed atmosphere, spacious and airy room, nice bathroom (although quite small). Good cooked breakfast.
A bit chaotic booking in - in fact never did, just picked up key. Pretty poor continental breakfast because the fruit was all old.
Shower noisy, no force from shower head. No Sky TV having rung earlier in the week to enquire whether it would be possible to watch an event on TV. (SKY not available) coincidence ?
Very pleased with the rooms and the excellent price for the two rooms, the superb breakfast in the morning extremely well priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Nothing to dislike!!
no signal for tv noisy room
Friendly staff, always made welcome
Friendly welcoming staff. Very well priced. Breakfast excellent value. Ideal for overnight stay.
There was nothing to criticise. Great accommodation for a reasonable price.Breakfast was tasty and punctually served.Would unhesitatingly recommend Dial House. Merv S
Friendly staff, food and atmosphere.
Broken lock on bedroom door.
Attitude of staff - good sized bedroom
Evening meals were variable in quality. Breakfast was only lukewarm
Staff are very polite and helpful, the location for us is ideal, I would stay again.
This is not a criticism but the room we stayed in was a bit dated, overall the room was well equipped to make the stay comfortable.
very friendly staff - left my phone charger in the room, received a phone call later that day advising that they would post it home for me received the very next day ! location also good, good pub just 5 mins walk away which does very good food
no bath :-(
Very welcoming staff with excellent suggestions. As a result of the information provided we took a delightful ferry trip to Dartmouth for the day. Their restaurant suggestions we good too. Fab breakfast; good location; comfy room.
My elderly friend found her room a bit chilly: an extra blanket was promptly provided.
The staff were lovely and friendly. There was ample Parking, the house had a large drive. It was nice and quiet at night. Breakfast was wonderful plenty of choice from cereal to the Full English. This was served quickly and was delicious,
The fact that my room was not cleaned over the weekend. Bedcovers just pulled up and sheet or pillow not straightened. Towels that were used and left to be changed just hung back up.
Very friendly and the meal was great. Room tidy.
Room bit below the price but the location is probably the reason, shower not very powerful.
Friendly staff, spotless bedroom and bathroom and good choice and quality of breakfast.
Shabby reception, stewed coffee at breakfast.
