Very convenient to visit Wellington College, very nice people, clean and pretty comfortable. Our room was on the side of the road and we found it quite noisy as there is quite a lot of traffic on Duke Street (we are not very used to traffic noise); not much water pressure at the top floor.

We stayed because we had a family reunion at Wellington College which is walkable but takes about half an hour. The hotel was all we needed for one night. It was clean, the staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good. Staff ordered a taxi for us which came very promptly and the charge was reasonable.

As a regular guest for a number of years it suits my purpose ideally which is to visit my family who live locally. It is not usually open for the Christmas period.

It was very conveniently situated for where we needed to be, easy to find, very reasonably priced, very comfortable. Altough I hadn't requested disabled accommodation the receptionist saw us coming (my wife is currently on crutches) and switched our booking to a ground floor room. Although the menu wasn't very comprehensive, it was very useful to be able to have our evening meal in the hotel with a good bar and, again, reasonable prices.

Good location for my visit. Clean. Good service and breakfast. Room a bit small even though a single. Not set up for evening dining. Very limited evening menu with only two or three small tables in the bar for evening meals. Ok for just one night.

I went to sort out the arrangements for my mothers funeral, my father is in a local hospital and my sister who lives locally was unable to provide accommodation. The house where my parents live as just a short walk from the hotel. It was all arranged at very short notice , however all the staff were very helpfum and the room was excellent.

Really friendly staff and immaculately clean hotel. Bed was really comfortable and clean. Breakfast was quality ingredients and well cooked. Tv channels lacked bbc programmes and with some of the channels, the digital signal was intermittent.

I thought the staff were polite but unobtrusive. I was pleased to be able to park my van in the large car park and have a short stroll to the town centre. The room was nice and clean and, although small, was ideal for a solo traveller. The ensuite was clean and breakfast was good. I would definitely stay again if in the area.
