We did not get the room request which was preferred but the staff were very pleasant and we received complimentary chocolate strawberries and rose petals on the bed.
Did not get the room that we requested.
The room was excellent very clean lovely decoration and superb bath
Comfortable quiet stay on my first visit to Manchester in good location
- Friendly & helpful staff. - Intimate & classy feel to the hotel.
- Room service is overly expensive; £9.50 for a sandwich is pretty steep.
The hotel itself was in a good location and the room we were given was very nicely furnished.
The major issue we had was that the wall between our room and our neighbours was so lacking in soundproofing that we could hear almost every sound from their room, which resulted in us being awoken in the early hours by noise.
Lovely hotel and friendly professional staff.
Only negative was the uncomfortable bed but this may be due to personal preference.
Staff friendly and helpful. Very comfortable
Didn't like having to pay for breakfast, would have thought it would all have been in the price of the room. Only complaint.
Lovely small hotel.
Beautifully presented boutique hotel in perfect location for Towers Business Park
Could not cook boiled eggs - twice
Beautiful eclectic rooms, a real treat!!!
Everything, beautiful hotel, lovely room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. And excellent breakfast!
Nothing, it was fantastic!
My husband and I stayed here for a night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was large, comfortable and clean and the bath was just amazing - huge and deep! We also had breakfast there, which was very nice, although quite expensive. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and an early check in was no trouble, even though we hadn't arranged it in advance. We will definitely be back.
There was nothing that we could fault - we had a perfect stay.
Just a lovely simple hotel with a nice atmosphere. Really great staff. Very tasty breakfast.
Very comfortable hotel with excellent customer service. Enjoyed my first visit enough to make it my preferred choice for a second visit to Manchester.
Didsbury House Hotel is in a brilliant location, especially, like us, you don't want to stay in the city centre. It's very comfortable and the staff helpful. We have stayed here 5 times and it would be our first choice. The area itself has a great choice of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. There is even a lovely walk in Fletcher Moss Park close by and transport links and excellant. There's also free parking.
Breakfast is expensive.
Got upgraded to bigger room as it was my birthday Comfortable bed Wow factor of Victorian bath Sky TV Room finished to high standard
Had to request 2nd bath towel (it did arrive quickly) Sink in bathroom drained slowly (could look at upping maintenance)
Beautiful interior design
There was no air conditioning in the rooms only a fan which was noisy. Complimentary water was there on the first day but was not replaced each day. A lot of noise could be heard at night.
Fancy neighborhood, speed wifi, welcoming staff, beautiful decorations, complimantry mineral water & cofee & tee, easy check-in check-out process
No safe box
Well furnished, clean
Would like to see breakfast included in the price
Staff were lovely,so was room and the food we ordered in our room for evening meal while we were getting ready to go to party.
My wife would have liked a shower cap to be provided in the room, instead of having a list of items which were only available from reception on request.a minor point ,but just a nuisance and not what one expects from a quality hotel.

Everything! Pure luxury
Well equipped room. Very nice staff. Breakfast was good. Home fro home feel about the place but needs more staff.
Very hot, airless room - needed a fan. Not enough staff. Breakfast room was understaffed. Had to ask for everything including cutlery and a salt pot that had something in it. Woken on Saturday morning at 05:30 by noise from room above - squeaky floor boards on full volume.
great staff and great hotel. really enjoyed breakfast.
