Colleagues and I found the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem for them to ensure our stay was a welcoming one. Breakfast was very tasty and prepared when you ordered rather than other hotels where food is pre-perpared. Great selection for all tastes and, once again, staff were very friendly.

Comfortable and close to Didsbury. Nice bed and shower. Room was very small. The breakfast cost was too expensive. We went to a local deli for breakfast instead. If guests have a choice they will not pay £15 per head for a few cornflakes and sausages. The deli cost us 15 for the two of us.

A small and personable Hotel. The staff were open and enthusiastic. The room was well positioned on the ground floor with direct access to a courtyard. It was well appointed and comfortable. There was a persistent noise that began at approximately 4.00am and continued till the morning. It appeared to come from somewhere in the heating system. When I told the receptionist about the noise she said that there had been complaints from other residents too. I asked if she could inform the manager and suggest that we could have some form of reduction in view of the noise.Although I hawas contacted the next day about corporate rates I have yet to hear about my , very polite, complaint!

Absolutely wonderful comfortable bed I was sorry that they had ignored the wonderful period features by focusing on ultra-modern decor. I also thought that the decor was rather masculine and think that leaning towards a country house style of decor would still have been luxurious but would lean more towards the architecture of the building

The lounge area is nice - Only a very small menu to choose from if you want to stay in the hotel for dinner - the gym is very, very basic - charged GBP 15.00 for WIFI !

Lovely hotel. Great location for buses and trains into town or an evening out in Didsbury. Staff very friendly. The breakfast is not included and is very expensive compared to almost antwhere else in the area (£15)

Location is good. Didsbury is a pleasant base for visiting Manchester. The rooms are becoming tired and need to be refreshed. The one given to us had a terrible smell of damp, although there was no evidence of it.

very nice old house converted to hotel. They adertise with Kingsize beds or large twins but in the room that we stayed the bed was very small. It is still unbelievable that a hotel where you have to pay well over £ 100,00 the WiFi is £ 10,00 per 24/h.

Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Modern bathroom. Very low rate otherwise this hotel would be above the amount I am prepared to spend on accommodation. Price of a small glass of wine!

The best bit about our stay was how welcoming the hotel staff were, and the lovely freestanding bath was just lovely. The only downside was how expensive the breakfast was, we checked out early as it was so much cheaper to drive in to Manchester city centre for a breakfast which was 75% cheaper.
