Staff were very friendly. I booked late and arrived late, the porter went out of his way to help me and park in secure area, directed me to restaurants locally that were still open.

Aylesbury has a lot to offer with a good town centre and outdoor market stalls.
There is a well laid out theatre and the cinema, they are both in walking distance from the centre.
Aylesbury is clean. It is mainly a flat city so it's a good place to walk.
There's a great selection of schools fir all ages..they have great scores from the education department.
The worse thing is the number of roundabouts but it helps with road safety looking at the statistics.

What a beautiful place.
What a beautiful place. So much going on with the theatre, markets, shops, bars, restaurants. The place was buzzing with an incredible ambiance for arts and culture.
It has a diverse community and the locals are so friendly. The David Bowie statue didn’t disappoint. I cannot wait to return for a weekend.

I was brought up in Aylesbury but have not lived there for about 30 years. The place has expanded considerably and every person we spoke to - 6 companies - all said that it had expanded too fast and badly lacked amenities... Doctors/Dentists/ Schools etc
3 groups said that whilst housing was a bit cheaper than London, many workers used Aylesbury as a commuter dormitory.
Personally I cannot comment as I am not there long enough

Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay.
Room was lovely and would recommend as an overnight stay. Would not recommend to eat or drink here. Food poor, quite cold and definitely no atmosphere. We were a party of 6 for evening meal - no one else eating. And only 4 others in the bar this was a Saturday night in town centre on the last weekend in November with Christmas round the corner! Says it all really!!

Nice to see another U.K. market town.
Nice to see another U.K. market town. Older buildings around the church. Forget the eatery chains, visit the Nags Head which has a good selection of ales and reasonably priced food in pleasant surroundings.

Fabulous great surrounds would liked to have explored more but accommodation not in an interesting area or near shops or station . Need for car or taxis
Great kitchen well allocated to share. But the bathrooms were also share- not obvious had a room where there was 6 inches to access one side of the bed AND A CHAIR JUST FITTED on the other side. Booked for 39 days but stair were steep and caused me difficulty .
Access was by a touch on pad withe numbers sent by message. I was I’ll and needed to stay in my room for five days and ordered in food took toilet without shower. Not good to isolate. Nicely done but not delux though one bed was on suit. Rooms varied in size do not recall different rooms been shown and present add does not explain shower used by three people
I've been to 3 and 4 star hotels in Dubai, and to be honest, I wasn't expecting that much cleanliness in here, but to my surprise, the kitchen, bathroom, room was very clean. The sheets and the towels felt soft and smelled great. Kitchen and dining area had a variety of yummy croissants, breads and the fridge had cheese and flavored yogurt collection that we liked. Not to mention the fruits, as we are conscious about healthy diet, I wish we were able to cook as well. I stayed with my husband, and it felt like home.
Such elegance, beauty and history! We wish we could’ve spent more than three days at the extraordinary Hartwell House. The entire staff is incredible, but a special shout out goes to John, Ethan and Matthew.
Dinner was delicious and perfectly proportioned, the massage and pool area are of the highest quality, our room in the main house was spacious, and the grounds are heavenly.
We were in Aylesbury for a wedding and the hotel was really close to the venue and very good value for money. the staff were really friendly and accommodating, even booking us a taxi to the wedding after we had arrived. the room was spacious, airy and had all the facilities we needed for our stay. the area is lovely and it was very quiet as well. would definitely stay again.
Pretty Hotel in beautiful area, with lovely walks and park cafe behind Hotel. Good location to go exploring further - Waddesdon Manor a few miles away and Tring town and canal/reservoirs nearby. Hosts, Mike and Julie very welcoming and great breakfasts! As a single traveller felt very comfortable and relaxed. Already planning return visit!
I was very pleased with my stay at Aylesbury, the room felt cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Although I had to share the bathroom, the place felt so much like a home that I felt relaxed and comfortable with that. I highly recommend it for those who prefer something more personal than the experience of a hotel chain.
Best thing about this property are the hosts. Very lovely and accommodating, making you feel comfortable and at home. The 10 min walk to the center along the water canal was a major plus also. There is a Tesco nearby open 24h from Monday to Saturday. I will definitely not look for anything else when I travel to Aylesbury.
The Building is typical old inn, so the window was a bit difficult to open for the warm day, but it didn't really bother us. The food was good, and the choice was better than expected. We enjoyed a good English breakfast! The hotel staff was very friendly and kind.
The rooms were great and had everything you needed, full kitchen facilities and free tea/ coffee and breakfast supplies.
It was so peaceful round there and I liked that you could sit out in the sun and open windows fully and that the area was safe.
Room was very comfortable and the bed was enormous! The room was perfect and I would recommend the Olympic Lodge to anyone needing to stay in the area. Great value for money and will certainly stay there again when visiting my son and his family.
Fabulous place to stay, clean, relaxing and amazing friendly surroundings with beautiful garden. Mike and Julie were really wonderful hosts and provided great breakfast and beautiful afternoon tea. Would recommend this lodge ☺
Dinner was wonderful. Meals were great and the ambience of the venue was terrific. Dog friendly which was a huge plus. Would definitely re-book. Friendly atmosphere. Great staff. Quiet area. Couldn't ask for more really.
Excellent breakfast included
Professional and attentive staff
Room initally found to be clean and comfortable nights sleep
Minimal noise around area
Walking distance to town centre
Local restaurants nearby
Great hosts. Great place to stay. Ample parking. Loved the extra touches such as fresh milk for the room, for tea/coffee, and some fresh fruit.
Will be my first choice to stay in the area when I next need to.
Great value for money, can't beat it for a short stay in Aylesbury! Bring ear plugs as it's in town centre, but all things considered it was clean and good for sleeping after a night out.
Landlady very hands on, room and building well furnished and clean, and in general was a very pleasant place to stay for the week. Really close to town centre.
