My room was ready before the scheduled check-in time. I always always appreciate this. Very quick check-in process too. Pleasant friendly staff. Very good sized bathroom, hot towel rack very good shower. Clean. 1.On returning to my room on the Saturday night, I found the door of my room was open. I'm absolutely positive I ensured it was fully closed when I'd left earlier in the day. Nothing was missing. 2.My toilet did not flush on the Sunday morning. |

The rooms were shabby and desperately needed updating. The bathrooms and rooms were dirty. The Gym was too small to do any work in and overall the hotel was just not worth the money. |

The room was a good size. Breakfast was very good. Very poor level of cleanliness in the 'spa'. Smelly and untidy. So dirty and mismanaged we only stayed 10 minutes and then went back to our room. Afraid to open our mouths in the swimming pool incase we swallowed the water! Most of the spa facilities were not working. The worst leisure facilities I have seen anywhere. Service was frosty and unprofessional. There was an unhappy atmosphere amongst the staff. Lots of foreign staff employed, however, it was the management who seemed to be the most lacking. |

Clean, well decorated spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of free parking on site. Excellent meals in restaurant. Can be noisy if hotel is holding a big function such as a wedding. Ask for a room in the new wing as this is more quiet. |

Nothing. When we arrived early evening no receptionist on duty young boy in bar did his best to book us in. Half window in bedroom located five feet off the ground resembeled a monks oratory. In the morning we were presented with a lukewarm breakfast swimming in cold beans.Very bad selection of draught beer in bar. |

Staff fraiendly, cleanliness and modern furnishings of room apart from old hairdryer on wall and old telephone with wires wrapped around in bathroom. Shower was cold in morning temperature controls did not work. Chef was flexible upon arrival in evening and made me appropriate snack which was much appreciated after long journey. Cleanliness and facilities in changing rooms of sports centre very dated and could do with refurbishment, similarly pool small and one of jacuzzis not working in am.Breakfast fab. |

All staff were polite and friendly. lighting in the corridor by room needs to be improved at all times for safety, the older part of the hotel needs to be looked at from the guest perspective for small things which could be improved generally, |

The staff were fantastic especially the evening check in people, who also have to look after the bar, they went to endless trouble to make sure that we felt welcome and were comfortably settled, despite being almost run off their feet in the middle of a busy Saturday evening. TV was not properly tuned to the various channels - only about 3 were available. |

Fabulous hotel with customer friendly and reliable staff. Great advert for teamwork and nothing is too much trouble or requests too small to matter. |

Staff always smiling and helpful. Disabled facilities good. Restaurant food excellent - particularly "chef's special". Bar food good value and well presented. Parking - no problem. Man. Dir. took time to talk to us. Overall good value for money. Strongly reccomended. Room a little noisy when functions take place, but will know next time which room to avoid. |
