Everything..excellent accommodation...wonderful hosts...great location for touring...
Very friendly host Did organize dinner table in a very good local restaurant Very good breakfast
The breakfast was excellent and the room modern and comfortable.
I had missed the small print on booking.com saying it was room only rate. The additional cost of breakfast was unexpected but worth it.
I booked based on others reviews and they were helpful and correct. Breakfasts wonderful.
The guide book had grest ideas but our host provided a wonderful map for a walk on the coast in the rain. One of our nicest adventures in Scotland.
Scottish pancakes were too sweet.
Welcoming, spotless, fantastic food (locally sourced), comfortable, splendid tranquil location. All in all, just perfect!!
What's not to like about Distant Hills Guest House??
Peter & Lesley make you feel at home, you get a lovely breakfast & the guest lounge is excellent
The room we had looked on to the side garden were we could watch the burn babbling along, the room was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely would definitely stay here again. well worth the money
The friendly, helpful hosts were lovely and the facilities were spot on
Brilliant personal service. Comfort Cuisine Modern Interior design
Delicious breakfast! Very friendly, warm people! Very nice rooms.
The bathroom was modern and clean
Not the most attractive of buildings with moss on the roof and shabby office type doors. The room was small and the air and bedding had a damp feel and they ask for more money for breakfast
The owners are super friendly, the breakfast is great, the decoration and appointment of the rooms is very attractive and tasteful.
Breakfast was an additional £ 10 per person. Nonsense!!
Beautifully decorated rooms-quiet location - excellant hosts - super breakfast
close to ferry,nice room
full breakfast extra
Amazing little bonus touches you just dont get anywhere else: tunnocks teacakes in the rooms, drying options for wet kit after a day in the mountains, stunning breakfast...
Nothing at all!
Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast and Peter and Lesley were incredibly friendly and helpful. The information folder in the room had no end of useful information.
Clean, modern, quiet, plenty of 'knobs' for hanging stuff, good lighting, tastefully decorated, good parking, breakfasts were superb. Excellent situation for sightseeing etc. Just fantastic!
The rooms were just a tad too small, but we weren't in them much anyway.
immaculate property with quality fittings and furniture. owners have taken great care with shower products
perhaps a little tight for space
Facilities of a superior standard. Eggs fresh from the hens for breakfast! The best breakfast in Scotland!
Door keys are cumbersome & awkward. It was difficult to operate the key.
This guest house goes the extra step for your enjoyment, with chocolates on the tea tray and delicious home made jams at breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place if your stopping over, not a lot going on in the village but you're close to lots of nice places.
Just about everything! Great location, very clean, great communication and a (very nearly) spot-on breakfast.
No option of baked beans at breakfast! Nothing else at all.
