The friendly relaxed and homely atmosphere, the attention to detail when designing the rooms, the decor and facilities on offer were superb, the cleanliness was exceptionally high. The breakfast on offer was superb and of a very high standard, the owners were very friendly and were very helpful and the recommendations made for an evening meal were brilliant.

We had a great stay at Distant Hills Guest House and just wish we could have stayed longer! Our hosts could not have been more helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely people running the guest house, very friendly and because it was raining and we were going to eat at Russell's restaurant about 500yds away (excellent food and service at Russell's, well worth a trip to eat there!) the gentleman at Distant Hills immediately offered to drop us off at Russell's so that we could have a drink and not have to drive, we could have walked but didn't want to get wet!!! Very kind thought of him. Lovely breakfast.

Everything was perfect. Very good breakfast, the owners were very kind and helpful. The room was a bit small, if you have a big suitcase you do not have enough place for it, but very nice anyway !!!!

Sehr hilfsbereites, freundliches Personal. Gute Auswahl und sehr gute Qualität des Frühstücks. Sauberkeit. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein.

Exzellentes Frühstück. Perfekte Lage für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Wird von einem sehr freundlichen Paar geführt. Tips für Wanderungen und Ausflüge inkl. Sehr kleines Zimmer mit einem sehr schmalen Doppelbett. Gleiches gilt für das Badezimmer.

Warm and friendly welcoming. Emailed us a couple of days before our trip with details of local restaurants that we might like to dine at on the evening of our arrival - even an offer to make a reservation on our behalf in case they became booked up also information about local activities and even the weather. Loved attention to small details in the room especially the provision of the Tunnock cakes and the facial wipes!

おいしいレストランを紹介してもらえました。お部屋は狭かったですが、快適でした。入口入ってほぼすぐのお- 部屋で荷物を運びやすかったです。 特にありません。
