friendly helpful staff. Casssy room fittings, excellent breakfast.

rooms too small; narrow stairs with no help offered with luggage; some rooms too close to noisy main road.

Value for money poor. Trying to be some thing it isnt. 4 star ? Not good value for money. Stayed an additional night at "The Moorings" in Fort William as the Distillery did not have a room available. 30 pounds less a night, a room twice the size

We liked the friendly welcome we received. The room was excellent,everything we needed. Breakfast was more than we hoped for. All in all a memorable stay.

Our room was small,but sunny and good bedding.It was handy to some eating places and the local supermarket

This was a very nice and clean place with good beds. A little small, but like most Eurpopean places. It is close to restuarants and all the roads leading to the major tourist attractions in the highlands.

The staff were particularly friendly. The bed and bedding were excellent quality and the toiletries were also good. Breakfast was excellent - very freshly made.

Nothing we didn't like.

1. Friendly staff with local knowledge. 2 Central location, within easy walking distance of railway station, town centre, Glen Nevis visitors' centre and the start of the annual Ben Nevis Race. 3. Excellent hot shower. 4. Generous breakfasts - including porridge.

Single room was quite small, compensated for by large modern bathroom.

Location and comfort

Location was perferct! Facility was execellent and staff friendly. Easy walking distance to shopping and food.

As a group of friends staying at this hotel, the location was very good for touring the highlands, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable, car park secure, lovely building, outdoor patio area and gardens very pleasant, with good views. Breakfast was self-service, and very good.

We felt lounge 'relaxing' seating area to sit was too small for amount of rooms/guests, if weather inclimate. We were in Room 1, nicely decorated but felt bit small. and view overlooked cottages, also building site! The bathroom was of good size, downside for us was the shower is fixed at the tap end of bath, and not fixed at head height, on the wall. The shower was an important factor for us. The mirror over the handbasin was on wall on your right! making it a bit awkward to shave. Wi-fi didnt work too well, and internet was 'out of order' We booked this accommodation 9 months in advance, hoping for a good room, with views of Ben Nevis. After discussing our stay with friends, I dont think we shall be returning to the Distillery Guest House

Very friendly staff, nice rooms, nice location

Describes itself as B&B - and is more a B&B than a hotel... A little bit to expensive for the standards provided (comparable B&B's charge as an average GBP 140.-)

We found the Distillery Guest House clean, comfortable and very homely. The staff were absolutely wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was good and was served in a pleasant breakfast room. I arrived a day early to find that I had somehow missed one nights accommodation. As the guest house was full Linda rang and arranged accommodation for our first night else where. She could not have done more for us. The Distillery Guest House is near a busy road BUT we didnt hear anything in our room. There is a bubbling creek that runs along the bottom of the garden. IOur room was spotlessly clean. We had very snuggly down doonas. The bathroom had heated towel rails, make up wipes, cotton balls and buds, lovely bath products. There were gowns and slippers, mints, biscuits, hot chocolate, tea and coffee supplies. There is plenty of parking at the Guest House.

We loved everything about the Distillery Guest House. Some people might not like the steps up to rooms ( one flight) but we did not find this an issue.

The rooms were good and the staff were very friedly and helpful.

very plesant stay. Nice rooms and quite location in a busy town. We enjoyed trival persuit on my Ipad in the spacious living room.

Bed was only standard.
