Brilliant B&B......very unlike a large hotel!

The room wasn't cleaned one day

The evening receptionist was polite, very helpful, charming & the breakfast was excellent & fresh ...

The bed was uncomfortable, the room was cold, the radiator was 'off' and the toilet paper was cheap & nasty !!!

Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

I extended my original booking from one to two nights, The first night was just for me and the second for my son and me. The hotel was not prepared to offer amy reduction for the single occupancy night even though they only had to supply one breakfast rather than two and the room would otherwise have been unoccupied There also seemed to be general "penny pinching", e.g. one pack of two biscuits with the tea and coffe making facilities, chipolatas rather than sausages at breakfast and only one small bottle of shower gel and one of shampoo, which was not sufficient for two people and was not replenished when it was half empty after the first night. I realise that more would have been available if I had asked, but this shoudn't be necessary.

On the first night there was a lot of noise from the room next door. My vegetarian sausages were cold in the middle on day 2.

Big enough to be a hotel but nicer because very quiet. Very friendly staff who couldn't have been more helpful. As a woman travelling on my own it was ideal.

room and bathroom could have been more up to date. Musty smell in room. Manager did say they were going to update that room. Upper rooms a little hot, and I was not comfortable about what to do in event of fire. They did go to some pains to move me to a ground floor room.

Stayed here 4 times now. It's clean, spacious, well priced, well located and friendly.

There was a problem with the card machine at Ditton Lodge during our most recent stay. At first the machine was apparently declining my card. However, I phoned up my bank and they informed this was not the case and there was a problem with the connection at Ditton Lodge. I ended having to drive out and get cash from a local ATM.

Great bathrooms, nice olde worlde feel, friendly staff & quiet location.

The house was beautiful. The bedroom small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast no complaints at all. Would certainly come back again.

Lovely old house with a super garden, friendly helpful staff, comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.

Parking was rather cramped and from Monday to Saturday parking outside would have been difficult.

I loved the quaint and beautiful decor of Ditton Lodge. This was a real gem of a hotel to find and made me feel welcome and comfortable after a long trip from the US.

My only complaint would be that there was no air conditioning in the rooms.

Ditton Lodge was very clean,as if just decorated. The atmosphere was very friendly and efficient. The house and gardens are in top notch conditon and the price reasonable. Would be happy to recommend any body to use and enjoy.
