I have already lodged a complaint with Premier Inn for our poor experience at the Docklands Premier Inn. The booking was made for 4 rooms/people and we all experienced noise throughout the night and early hours due to the closeness of the railway line and London Central Airport. At the time of booking the location of the aforementioned was not advised - had it been we would have chosen a different hotel. We would therefore appreciate your review of this complaint and refund of the monies paid, as this was not a cheap location and our price per night varied on each of the days. Totally unacceptable experience. I look forward to hearing from you with a suitable refund. JULIE THORNLEY

Good hotel staff brilliant and both dinner and breakfast suprisingly brilliant. Location poor if no. Car you need taxis which bumps up the price

Location is great for London City airport and Canary Wharf. Really friendly staff and excellent service at breakfast. Room was quiet and clean. Would definately stay here again.

Have stayed at many Premier Inns and "you know what you are getting." This was at the "top end" of their range - good facilities, restaurant etc and very helpful and friendly staff. Like most people, we search the websites for "value" but would certainly stay again if it was a choice between this and an "unknown quantity."

Breakfast was reasonably priced

Very busy at breakfast and staff couldn't keep up, no plates, no bacon, tables not cleared

Smoking tables located outside reception area encourages people to stand and talk/laugh and drink until after midnight.

It was 3 minute walk from Excel

The noise from the dlr railway, The cost of the room £198,00 !!!!! Pay car parking Lack of organisation in the restaurant

You always know the room will be excellent and consistent, clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfasts and the service in the restaurant was the same excellent standard and staff were lovely.

The premier inn was 100% spot on as usual. They seemed very understaffed in the restaurant - we booked a table for 8pm on the morning but didnt get our meal until almost 10pm along with many other guests doing the same. Our kids are 9 and 10 and coped rather patiently even though they were very hungry and had to wait so long. Front of house man didnt seem to be coping or communicating well that evening. Cannot fault our waitress who even though under so much stress was faultless. I have stopped there on another occasion and even though we weren't too happy on this one occasion it wouldn't prevent me from staying there further. Id normally recommend the hotel to anyone. Lack of staff or 'communication to staff' error I think.

My wife and children were stranded at the o2 in the recent snow storm... Thank you for your excellent booking service. I was able to remotely book the hotel and help them make the two hour journey in snow to get there.

Modern clean room.

It was very clean, very quiet and in ideal location next to Excel exposition centre.

I stayed here a few months ago and it was excellent. This time I stayed with a work colleague and he also thought it was excellent. The staff are well trained and very friendly. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is superb. The manager has somehow managed to create a fantastic atmosphere in what would normally be a low cost ordinary business hotel.
