It was ok
Nice staff and try hard to solve our problem
wifi signal is fair in the room
Nice hotel, kind and helpful staff. The hotel and the room were tidy and convenient.
quite place, tidy and very kind staffs
Proximity to Shadwell Tube and DLR stations made travel around London convenient. Room was clean and bathroom was large by London standards in this price range.
Narrow stairways may be difficult for some guests.
The personal was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice.It was very close to London Tower, only 1 Train Station. We will come back again.
Close to Tower Bridge and the City Good breakfast Helpfull staff
Noisy and small room
quiet location; good staff
cramped room, not well ventilated, no airconditioning
Clean, well presented rooms with a good breakfast and a short walk to the tube station. Staff were really polite and helpful
Clean, modern, fantastic bathroom and great location. Nice breakfast room and breakfast. Friendly staff.
No milk for tea in the morning!!
how safe it felt
The breakfast - the scrambled eggs were good.
No aircon, bathroom door handle broke off, surrounding area was rough.
Wi fi Breakfast
Springs in bed small sink underneath the toilet lid
Good selection of food and fruit for breakfast including drinks. All the staff were very helpful and of a pleasant disposition. Good travel link to London's places of interest.
The pleasant and efficient staff. The clean and comfortable room.
position, value for money, staff
room is a bit small
I arrived early and even through there were rooms available, the staff refused to allow me to check in before 2:00 pm. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Don't be put off by the exterior. We had a lovely stay at the Dockside hotel. The hotel is less than five minutes from Shadwell station, and although the rooms are basic and on the small side. They are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Staff was hospitable
Wifi didnt exist
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was basic but adequate.
The hotel was a bit noisy at night and early in the morning but just with people going about their business. Would have liked air con as it was very stuffy in London during our visit
Location is good, room is nice, staffs are helpful and friendly. Very satisfied.
The wifi connection on the top floor is not stable. However the hotel is handling the problem and hopefully it will be fixed soon.
I booked this hotel very last minute as I was given three days notice to attend an interview in Whitechapel. The only real positive was it was close to were I had to be for my interview. The staff were also nice enough
- Wh9le place is generally run down - Room faced onto people's front doors - Window in room was cracked and taped together, when I closed it I couldn't get it back open - window in bathroom did not close at all - not very reassuring for someone travelling on their own as my room was on the first level with a brick wall right below it so anyone could have easily got near the window - turned on the fan and it fell off so was very stuffy in room - electricity went off - bathroom was nice but the shower head was really grubby looking - walls were grubby looking as well - collection of dust around the back of bed
Staff were lovely, room was refurbed and bed was great after 26 hrs of flying though no air conditioning or elevators and our room was on the top floor so pretty warm as we stayed in summer. The hotel is just a 7 min walk (with luggage) from the metro and 15 minute walk from Tower of London along the bike freeway so very good position but the area was really dirty. If you don't plan on staying in your room much or hanging around Whitechapel itself then not a bad option
Dirty area but then again that's London!
The room itself was very clean, not too big but cozy and comfortable, well maintained. Bathroom was clean with a strong shower. Bed was really nice for a good night sleep. Quiet location and friendly staff. Sorry we missed the breakfast, wanted to sleep longer, good that check out is just at midday.
Location seemed a bit dangerous with some people passing by. Could be a bit cheaper - £80 for one night is still a bit overpriced.
