I wasn't sure about the part of London the hotel was in, but I had no problems at all - even late at night - and it is just 3-4 minutes walk from Shadwell station one stop away from Tower Gateway. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. I was in room 10 which is right through the main door from reception, but I didn't have any problems with noise. The room was warm, comfortable & well equipped.
The shower could do with a little updating but was hot & powerful - & the large bathroom meant I banged my head while brushing my teeth! Just two tea bags was a little mean too - but not a real problem!
Iv stayed here twice. The staff here are very friendly and extremely helpful carrying my luggage to my room etc. The hotel room was clean and modern and the wifi connection was strong. Zone1 shadwell so you can reach the city in literally minutes. Outstanding for the price.
Only downside. The area at night is not the best so if your a female on your own it's best not to walk around at night or have company to get you back safely.
Very clean/modern bathroom
A bit of noise from the road
Staff was very kind! It was a very multi-cultural area which was quite exciting and funny to experience (if you like that) The room was very clean and very modern. Breakfast wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was okay. Really pleased.
It shouldn't scare you away, as I would like to recommend this hotel, but; Walls are a bit thin, so if your lady is a screamer, you should maybe keep it low. Maybe use a pillow or something. ;-)
Very helpful, polite staff
Hotrl cimfirtsvmbke and luxurious
Locstionv no wifi in rm
Staff could not have been more helpful. Room was spotless and facilities were beyond what I expected. I had a wonderful short stay and will definitely go back. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
- small room was really small - neighbourhood is rather unpleasant, even scary at nights
This hotel doesn't look that impressive fro the outside but I found my room was excellent. Very good value and a five minute walk from Overground and DLR trains at Shadwell.
Not much. It was not obvious from the station (you have to walk down a side street) but I found it ok
Very close to a train station. Staff were accomodating and helpful.
The room was tiny, no more room to move around. No elevators to the upper floors. One has to carry the luggage up and down the very narrow staircase.
The WiFi didn't work at all.
Bathroom Bed Plenty of Mirrors Pleasant staff Good breakfast Clean
Very small Mini Bar not stocked Hair dryer fixed in bathroom, caused difficulties when drying my hair & partner wanted to use bathroom. Cotton ridged sheets uncomfy
Nice bed, big shower
We expected a room with nice decorations and colours like the pictures, however we got a white small room with no colour whatsoever
Location, comfortable, friendly staff
Friendly and helpful staff. Good size bedroom and bathroom with very good sized shower seldom found in other hotels. Close to the DLR station.
Not the best location in the world but you cannot always have everything.
Clean comfortable room, handy location.continental breakfast was fine.
Ditch the cooked breakfast, poor quality beans and sausage, rubber scrambled eggs, and cold.better not to bother!!
Excellent value for money. The hotel is small but nice decor and clean and the staff very helpful. Just 2 mins from Shadwell DLR made travelling into town very easy
There is a train line very close to the hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly.
The rooms are very tiny, no more room to move around or put your things. There are no elevators, very hard to carry luggage up the very narrow staircase and there are no airconditioners. One has to open the windows for air.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful for the duration of our stay. The rooms had very nice decoration and were clean. The hotel was very close to the DLR and underground stations.
Television didn't work properly. Bathroom drains smelled a bit.
The staff friendly, the breakfast was good, public transportation very good
The room was already small for one person and too small for a couple
- close to metro - nice bath, good shower - free coffee/tea - excellent price-value-ratio - breakfast is good
- could have been better cleaned - i didn't like the bed too much
