Terrific location in a wonderful town. Very friendly staff. Large car park. The food in the restaurant was very good, as well. Tutbury made for a fine stopover for a night in Derbyshire - a very nice church and a castle. Very convenient to Sudbury Hall.

Small quibble, but breakfast is an added charge, however there are very nice coffee and tea shops in Tutbury.

Nice building. Good local. Nice beer, parking.

Bit expensive. Didn't like the way it was priced. Adding on Vat. not including breakfast in the price. Plastic cups in the room, Mean offering in the room, coffee tea etc.

Nice hotel, staff are polite and the rooms are very clean, food was exelent. I will use this hotel again when I am in the area for buisiness or leisure.

Very welcoming staff. Warm and cosy. Very clean. Lovely large room. Not sure what other travellers found bad about lighting. Its a 15th Century building and I liked the authenticity in the bedroom. Very old and full of character but with all of the modern essentials

Breakfast should have been included in the pirce. There isn't much to do in the town itself. Couldn't find another decent pub/restaurant in walking distance. Food could have been much better for the price.

Great staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Obviously a well managed team with an eye for the detail. Good food, comfortable room.

We stayed for 1 night with our friends. We booked 2 double rooms at the last minute and what a bargain, rooms were beautiful, spacious and very clean, staff were lovely and helpful and even opened the meeting room so we could watch the England match on the big screen. We all had an excellent meal in the restaurant which seems very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. Breakfast was excellent along with the waitress service. Would we definately return if we are in the area again.

Staff were very friendly, food choice was varied and the quality was good. Room was comfortable and bathroom spacious and clean. Beds comfortable.

we stayed at the D & P after a day at Alton Towers. The food in the restuarant was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the exec room which was beautiful and clean and we would definately stay there again. .

Only thing I would say is that our room was on the top floor so if you have difficulty walking stairs or children this may make things a little tricky

Very welcoming staff very friendly, large double room, plenty of hot water, Tea and coffee making in room.

Had to pay extra for breakfast at the price paid we usually expect breakfast included.

I loved the old, black and white building. The rooms had character, but were elegantly and luxuriously furnished. The staff were excellent-all very friendly and helpful and- efficient! I shall certainly be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

Location was useful to my visit to family.

I think the hotel is overpriced . The decor is dingy. At the price charged I think it is appalling that toiletries are not supplied. The room was reasonably comfortable but one radiator did not work . The bathroom had a rusting pipe to the shower. I will stick to Premier Inns in future. The only good thing was the location which was near where my family live in Webb Corbett House but I will not be returning. This is in the middle of a wonderful tourist area. Standards need to be raised considerably. Bring in a proper chef ..Do the place up, and try to sell our lovely Country to visitors in a positive way

The staff were very accomodating. We had initially booked a double room with zed bed for our daughter, the family room being unavailable. However, on arrival found we had been upgraded but also having left our daughter to stay with friends. We arrived for check in at midnight on the night of our stay but despite this, and lack of child, were still made to feel very welcome. We were even told to phone them if we needed anything in the middle of the night! Great value for money and would certainly book again.
