On the edge of Uttoxeter this Premier Inn has easy access to the A50, and the M6 and M1. The hotel is ideal for Uttoxeter Racecourse, Alton Towers and JCB headquarters.

Food was very good, rooms clean and warm
WiFi isnt the best and only available in the bar ... maybe not too bad then :)
friendly helpful staff
headboard banging on the wall from next door not once four times through out the night
Excellent food quality, customer focus spot on
All staff extremely friendly. Room had everything we wanted and could park right outside. Lovely view too.
Ordered a vegetarian meal at dinner and it had meat in it.
Was made every welcome and definitely felt 'looked after'
NOT exactly a bad experience but the lack of wifi in the bedrooms was a little inconvenient being as I was there on a business trip.
Rooms are a bit tired, only had a bath with flexible shower attachment, not much use really. TV remote was poor Meals were OK just. Lots of steps up to main building, would be difficult for disabled.
No hot water in shower (so we had to use room next door). Water pressure in suite was also very low . Poor restaurant service - no naan bread with curry. Burger overcooked.
Breakfast was very good. Staff were polite. Beds very comfy.
Walls are paper thin so could hear everything in next room. We had a curry in pub that was more like a stew !
Very welcoming atmosphere, lovely clean rooms and good food.
Loved it there want to stay longer lovely people helpful x
Room was perfect for a family of 4, and decent adult bunk beds for teenagers. Pub was cosy and nice to see dogs allowed in, Beer very nice apparently! Food in restaurant a bit different which was nice. Our starters goats cheese and mushrooms with black pudding very good, also my husbands pork, and yummy homemade puddings.
It was very dark when walking out of back of the pub down quite steep stairs, some of the lights appeared not to be working. Vension casserole not tender enough.
The staff were extremely friendly and the Inn was SO child friendly (which was great as we had a 4 year old with us!). Food was delicious and the location was great as it was only approx 10 mins from Alton Towers which is why we were there - will definitely be staying at the Dog and Partridge in the future!
No comments to make as there was nothing we disliked!
Clean Friendly Staff always on hand to assist , Great Restaurant Location is less than 20 minutes from Alton Towers
Restaurant Prices higher than expected
Cosy bar area. Good location for Alton Towers. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Menu in restaurant looked very good, but all 8 meals in our group were very poor. Rooms were not that clean.cobwebs every where, although good bedding.
Great place to stay had a excellent stay
Staff were very friendly
My 2 daughters came back covered in bed bug bites (confirmed by gp) at which my youngest has had a bad reaction to. The full English breakfast didn't have any tomatoes or mushrooms and no choice between toast or friend bread. Will not be stopping there again or recommending it.
Great place for an overnight stay for a trip to Alton Towers, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
The food was a little overpriced but there was a great range.
Friendly staff Good menu Very good breakfast Modern dining room
Accommodation a bit dated
Fabulous choice for breakfast
Very friendly staff Excellent location for Alton Towers Family room with a door between adults and children. Set in beautiful countryside Parking next to accommodate Excelent food
Shower a bit fiddly and feeble Noisy children next door early in the morning.
Superbly welcoming staff. One of the most friendly places I have ever stayed. Great restaurant food and sensational breakfasts.
Accommodation a bit tired and dated, but more than compensated by staff and food.
We arrived to the hotel late on the 18th October after a full day at Alton towers. Staff were very polite and accommodating. We ordered room service which arrived quickly and was so tasty. Had a great nights sleep in one of the chalets. Arrived for breakfast the next morning, and were extremely surprised to find a huge selection of pastries, mueslis, yoghurts, fruits, fresh juice, toast croissant etc, all included and in addition to a full cooked breakfast of our choosing. Our stay was a delight and we hope to return again soon .
We were looking for somewhere to stay after a visit to Alton Towers with family and friends and came across the Dog and Partridge in. The staff couldnt do enough for us and brought us room service even after hours as our children had crashed out. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and the kids play area great!
The only downside is that there is nothing for miles around this place so just come prepared with everything you need to hand!
Easy to find, large comfy room, plenty of parking
Food was excellent but the portions were massive so no room for pudding :(
Food choice is limited, staff are ok but not overly helpful, the bar is crowded with goods for sale. Woken at 5am by a cockerill
