Beds were really compfy Room was very clean Staff were very friendly Neccessary facilities were all ready for us when we first got into the room Free wifi was an ok speed
I asked for a room furthest away from the traffic and was given one right next to it, The toilet is right against the bathroom wall so I had to sit at an angle to use it, The windows let a lot of sound in, so I kept hearing cars pass by which made it hard to sleep
Stayed the one night and everything was perfect. Had a lush burger meal with a beer and a cooked breakfast in the morning. Free wifi and parking. Staff were spot on.
Couldn't work the radiator
Location /parking /
no elevators Tiniest shower I've ever seen Not powerful what so ever
Service, welcome, car parking, breakfast
Thin duvet which was not enough until i realized how to turn on the electric heater
We needed an overnight stay. This hotel was in an ideal location near the city centre and it was clean and friendly.
excellent helpful staff
small but comfortable room
Easy to gt to
Bathroom smelt terrible pud our from drains very uncomfertable stay
The staff were very helpfull the food reasonably priced, warm comfortable, highly recommend to any one who wants to stay just far enough outa town to be quiet but close enough to enjoy the city. Very close to the Liverpool museum and Echo Arena
My only minor dislike was the Wi-fi in my room kept dropping out.Maybe a bandwidth thing but was frustrating.
This is a Budget Accommodation hotel, but once you realise this, it is actually very well done.Staff were both helpful and friendly. Rooms were basic but v clean, well maintained and comfortable. All public area were well presented and well kept also. Wifi in rooms was excellent also. As was the new TV.
The shock of realising that the accommodation was actually a Budget Hotel (Sorry, darling) :( ....... Once we got over that, the room was clean, comfortable and had a super view of the Liverpool Waterfront. No complaints otherwise.
The Hotel is very clean and comfortable. We found all staff to be very helpfull and polite with nothing we asked for being too much trouble. Breakfast, although we thought was a little expensive, was good but was not too impressed with the evening meals which consisted mainly of frozen ingredients including Fish and chips.
The beds were not very comfortable and the bathroom was absolutely terrible. I have never stayed in an Hotel with a pre-fabricated plastic triangular bathroom that you had to step up and down into. The shower was an absolute nightmare because it was so small. Everytime you moved in the shower you caught the shower water control and knocked it off. To be honest the bathrooms are that small that you could quite literally sit on the WC, wash your hands in the sink and shower your feet all at the same time. Totally spoils the rest of the Hotel
good menu, reasonably priced, pleasant staff, parking included.
groups returning at 4am. being very noisy, banging doors and heavy footsteps in room above, standing outside our window smoking , talking loud and laughing.
I thought the room was value for money. However the shower did not work. It stopped half way through a shower in our room. in my daughters room my son n law had to fix it before it worked!
Apart from the shower nothing.
location staff helpful very comfortable beds
hen night party just down the corridor it got very noisy at 3 am
Basic and too noisy with stag/hens/birthdays
The view from the room, good breakfast, handy parking and very central.
Shower too small!!
The food was great, a value for money. The environment was quiet. Generally great place to stay though the shower is tiny.
Tiny shower room
Good value, OK location. Did exactly what it said on the tin
Bathroom was making a lot of noise.
Bathroom like a caravan bed cover wafer thin
The free Wi-Fi The staff excellent customer care The hotel cleanliness The food was lovely The location The price was great also
The beds not that comfy The shower way to small
Staff were friendly and efficient.
food was excellent, had toad in the hole for dinner, massive, brillant breakfast and the beer,is it called jhlees extra smooth the best we ever had, like honey will definitly will be back oh the staff were lovely
the bathroom too small no space
View over the dock was lovely, staff in the evening were very nice, polite and accomodating.
Refurbishments were taking place at 10am in the room next door, I purposely booked the room as it had 11.30 check out and I knew I had calls to make and work to complete before attending a meeting the following PM. The assistant manager covering reception the morning was extremely unhelpful, she had no customer skills at all. I visit hotels frequently due to the nature of my work and have never before had cause to complain, nor have I been treated with the disdain I encountered from the woman at the Dolby.
i now live in Spain but i used to live 5 minutes away from the Hotel, so it felt like being home again, only 10 minute walk into town or the Albert Dock its a nice pleasent walk from the Hotel.
