Staff were friendly and helpful. The tissue box was full of used and dirty tissues. It looks nothing like the website in real life. Bathroom was like a caravan bathroom with no space to move. No dressing table to get ready for work. Door didn't lock properly. Filthy door frame. Generally depressing. Breakfast was OK ( however I only had continental) and evening meal was appalling- A raw jacket potato ? Don't recommend at all

It was only a few minutes walk from the city center which was what we were looking for as we went to shop and for night entertainment.we stayed 3 nights and the rooms were cleaned and fresh towels each day.I Would stay in this hotel again if I was visiting liverpool. If you want a large room this hotel is not for you.

Good hotel in excellent location with friendly and helpful staff. We could not sleep properly due to the noise from other guests in the corridor and the slamming of room doors - this went on through the night until 06:00hrs. The state of the toilet in reception was disgusting/filthy - previous user had no hygiene standards and left excrement all over the toilet. This was our last use of the facilities before we left and does not give us happy memories.

Very pleased with the standard of the hotel taking into consideration the price, which was very reasonable. It was very noisy in the early hours with other residents coming back from nights out etc. Not the hotels fault, but if there were signs in place to ask respect for other guests, it may help!

The location was good, Although it was clean it needs upgrading as bathroom was very small. Does not compare to premier inn, which is much better value for your money.

The staff were friendly, and the standard of the food they served was excellent in quality and price. The hotel lobby was perfect leather sofas for comfort,tv,music,Internet access £1 for 15 mins and a bar serving all sorts also cocktails.... The room was small but very clean with tea and coffee facilities. Also a hairdryer in the room good value for many though and was way more than we expected. The view from our room was amazing straight onto the waterfront you could see the albert dock big wheel and the echo arena. Will definatly return only next time for longer as we only stayed for 2 nights.City centre was only 10 mins walk,Casino next door lots of pubs bars restaurants.

When we go to Liverpool we always stay at the Dolby and have been doing for many years. The staff are always friendly and if you get a back room it looks over the river, the parking is hassle free as well. Prehaps the bedrooms and ensuite could do with a revamp.

The Dolby Hotel was centeral to the city centre and other locations I needed to go. The staff were frendly, helpfull and courteous. The food was good. The room was comfortable, clean and adequate for our needs. If I needed to stay in Liverpool again I would consider staying at the Dolby Hotel.

The most welcoming, friendly, yet professional hotel staff that I have met over many years. The food was good and enough of it. Comfortable rooms. Bathroom a bit small but spotlessly clean. No complaints whatsoever.
