It was only a few minutes walk from the city center which was what we were looking for as we went to shop and for night entertainment.we stayed 3 nights and the rooms were cleaned and fresh towels each day.I Would stay in this hotel again if I was visiting liverpool. If you want a large room this hotel is not for you.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Albert Dock and 10 minutes from the city centre. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was spotless. Although we didn't use the restaurant/bar, quite a few people were so I can only assume it was of a relatively high standard, and with a continental buffet and cooked full English breakfast at uder £7, the price was more than reasonable. We booked our triple room (we're a band and were playing in the world famous Cavern Club) at short notice at the reasonable cost of £50. Unfortunately, for a triple room, it was a bit cramped. Other than that, no complaints.

I liked the location overlooking the docks / water and for the city centre. On arrival, reception is very nice but unfortunately the rooms could be more pleasing like reception as the rooms are a little disappointing and are very small / compact like a shoe box with a bunk bed in.

Staff very polite and helpful. Very good English Breakfast. Room was very small but adequate. Bed was basic but we both had a good nights sleep. The toilet and shower were so small that we feft like we were in a night train shower room. But it was ok once we got used to it.

Staff, Location and Cleanliness and food were excellent The bunk beds and lack of twin single bed rooms; The top bunk had very little clearance between the bed and the ceiling and the metal ladder was agony to use to climb up and down. In fairness, I am very tall

At £35 for a night in a room the hotel was very good. You can't expect 5 star standards at that price. Rooms are not the biggest but suitable for single travellers or couples if you are using the room simply as a base. Very pleasant reception staff. Would use again without hesitation. No covered smoking shelter

The staff were very friendly, the location excellent for Liverpool Echo and shopping centre. The restaurant was reasonably priced and food good along with reasonably priced bar. The rooms were not massive but were clean with ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities and a tv, no telephone though. Car parking at the hotel was free and could be left when shopping the next day, no need to drive as centre was 15 mins walk. My room was on the first floor and could hear the restaurant and kitchens below so not a great nights sleep, next time would ask for a room on the higher floors
