Thank Steve for deleting my pictures ;) Very cozy B&B indeed!
Location. Free parking.
No elevator is hard if you aren't "backpacking" it.
The kitchen was very nice, you could do a lot in it.
Very good location on street on edge of downtown. Parking on street. Owner gave us a good tour of the facilities, and showed us to our room. Our room was fine, very quiet, comfortable. Bathroom with shower was about 15 feet away down a few stairs. Tubs were available on another floor. Breakfast and meal area in the basement (from front), which opens as a walk out to back yard. Breakfast was standard. Owner provided us with a map and tips on what to see, and where to go…..key tourist stops. Very friendly and we’d stay there again.
Interesting decor with many things from India. Home made bread and generous breakfast.Helpful map and suggestions for activities and eating places. Clean towels and nice bedlinen. Easy going attitude.
Location, helpful staff, nice breakfast
Very basic. Uncomfortable bed, only stay here if you want to go out to town and need a bed for a night. If you want a decent sleep, book somewhere else as it's gets noisy during the night
It was dirty, smelled like mildew and was definitely over priced. It certainly did not look like it was portrayed online. No soap or privacy in bathrooms.
We loved the owner he was so lovely and very helpful. He has great local knowledge. The Kitchen is beautiful large layout and the oven is brilliant.
Great accommodation, location and staff.
The location allowed us to park the car and walk. Information given by staff on things to do and places to go was best yet
Everything, very relaxed place :)
Friendly welcome, good recommendations about what to do, nice that i could leave my backpack there after checking out. Thank you.
Private atmosphere, like entering a residential community, breakfast has to be done by yourself (in the kitchen of the owners), you join a small group of travellers... You find a public living room and W-Lan for free..
The bunk beds are very simple and the matresses were quite terrifying, very helpful the duvets that quite cold days... the rooms don't offer any comfort, just a place to sleep...
This is a lovely, homely hostel that we used as a base from where we could go and see the Lumiere lights show. The room was 2 bunk beds, so not ideal for 2 adults and 2 young children, but we chose it for its central location and the price. The facilities are nice and the presentation is quirky, with lots of personal touches. The shared kitchen / living space was lovely and would have been really useful for a longer stay. We would happily go back there nexxt time we head to Derry.
Steve was very helpful in marking on a map the sites of Derry. Also his home made bred was amazing!
It was a very nice place to stay in convenient location for the city. Atmosphere and facilities were great.
Very good location. Shared bathroom had a bath for extra relaxation. Helpful staff gave good tips on where to visit around the city
The place hadn't been cleaned properly since the previous guests checked out - dirty cups around the hotel.
We really appreciated the advice on what to see and do in the city.
The owners were extremely helpful and welcoming. The kitchen was always open for us to sit in and use the cooking facilities. Continental breakfast was great, even had fresh bread. Bathrooms were shared but very nice. Beds were comfortable, 2 bunk beds in 4 person room. The location was great for attending the choral festival and the price was fantastic. Free wifi with no awkward log in was brilloant. I'd very much recommend to young people on a budget!
Couldn't control the radiator in the bedroom but it wasn't too much of a problem
