I liked the period fixtures and fittings throughout the house. Good breakfast with lots of choice in homemade jams.
The location was good for the town. The shower was good. The homemade jams were a nice touch. The breakfast was lovely.
The bedroom really needs modernising. The kettle, towels bathroom suite and carpet have all seen better days. Quite disappointing that the whole house had a very doggy smell. I think it's overpriced for what it is.
Such a homely place, a very comfy bed and a great breakfast. The perfect start for a good trek up snowdon. Will definately stay again next time we come walking :)
Price & availability at short notice. Friendly and helpful landlady. Wifi. Fresh milk in guest fridge in hall-way
Smell of dog on arrival (but we became less aware of this during our stay)
Exceedingly clean. Breakfast excellent.
Our room was spacious and very comfortable and had a view of the River which was lovely to look out on. Breakfast was really good and plenty of it and we were made to feel 'at home'. Will definitely return.
Oldie worldie are how I would describe this guest house. It is old fashioned but welcoming. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. Hospitality was easy going, nothing to much trouble. Fab location, 2 minute walk into betwys y coed and a short drive to snowdon. We chose this guest house due to allowing dogs to stay but you wouldn't know pets were allowed as it was clean, no smells etc. They also have a parking area to the rear and from the back garden you can take a walk straight out into the hillside. Lovely views of the river to the front also.
Staff v nice couldn't do more to help. Car park Size of room
Dog friendly= room that smelt like dog + dog hairs on pillows!.
Everything was great clean and everyone friendly
Musty smell, poor breakfast if you don't want cooked, fussy tired decor
Location, comfort, price
Close to centre of Betws Free parking (parking hard to find in centre) Good rate for single room
Dangerous step down into bathroom Unable to have breakfast before 8 No wifi in room
Location is ok
Breakfast - small portion décor outdated
Everything, very comfortable after a long walk, all the facilities where excellent
A bit further to walk into the town
Ruth is very easy going and kind. I like the decor and breakfast a lot.
my room doesn't have a private shower, and the water pressure was not strong enough
Very friendly welcome, close to shops and places to eat, very accomodating and generally lovely place to be. The bed was very comfortable x
Ruth is a lovely host and serves a delicious breakfast in the dining room each morning. The house was positioned close enough to walk to the town centre and restaurants. Ample parking for guests at rear of property.
Very friendly and helpful, clean and nice room, delicious breakfast, on site parking, very dog friendly.
The guest house owner was helpful, offering to pick me up off the mountain if I missed the bus. She also dried my walking boots.
The eggs were cooked to perfection!
The geniality of the host The quality of the breakfast. The quiet of the setting The off-street parking The grounds Everything
The view of the river from our window and the friendly ambiance.
The owner very friendly, great breakfast and facilities
Sat nav took me to addresses 300 yards away. ADVISED THAT POST CODE HAS MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
A clean and friendly guest house. The on site parking is a bonus. The landlady was welcoming. I particularly liked the fresh milk for tea and coffee and breakfast was lovely. There is a good lounge in which to relax.
I had a shred bathroom which was fine but the shower wasn't warm.
