Our team of Housekeepers and Property Managers are all local should you need to call for any assistance with anything.  We love that Saltwater Escapes properties have become a home from home for many of our customers who have stayed with us year after year and are making traditions of their own and memories to treasure. Dolphin Cottage is managed by Saltwater Escapes, a Brixham based family business. You will be provided with contact details for your property manager for during your stay.

Dolphin Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage perched above the harbour on one of Brixham's most photogenic streets. Thanks to it's elevated setting in Brixham's natural harbour bowl, the cottage offers fantastic views across the harbour, marina and out to the Breakwater. This newly decorated cottage is just a stone's throw from everything Brixham has to offer, with fantastic pubs, restaurants, cafés and a variety of independent retailers all within walking distance. Located among a row of vibrant colourful cottages, Dolphin Cottage's cheerful exterior sets the tone for within. As you step straight inside to the cosy living area, the fireplace provides a focal point to the room and it is easy to imagine occupants of years ago looking down to their boats in the harbour. The small but well-designed kitchen offers the perfect flexibility for self-catering. Brixham is a food lovers' paradise, and you will be spoilt for choice for places to eat out. For culinary enthusiasts, why not pick up some fresh fish straight off one of the local day boats to prepare back in the cottage and then enjoy an after dinner drink on the front courtyard. The perfect set-up.

Dolphin Cottage is situated on one of the most characterful streets in Brixham called Prospect Road. Just a matter of minutes walk and you can be in the town with its many cafés, restaurants and shops or enjoying a pleasant walk around the harbour to the marina and breakwater. Brixham has long been famed for its links to the sea, and now has an up and coming culinary scene to add to its armoury, with an increasing number of independent cafés and delightful restaurants offering ingredients landed just a stones’ throw from their doorstep. For walkers, The South West Coast Path will take you as far as your legs will carry you, and entertaining the little ones couldn’t be easier with Paignton Zoo, The Dartmouth Steam Railway and Splashdown @ Quay West all within a short drive.
