The location is good
Having gone to bed there was a generator noise all night long, it was impossible to go to sleep and when we did finally get off to sleep it woke us up again. In the morning we were totally exhausted and stressed out from an inadequate nights sleep. When we reported it in the morning the staff said we should have come down in the middle of the night and requested another room, in reality it is not practical to expect quest to pack up and relocate rooms in the middle of the night. They also seemed more concerned that it would effect the next guests arriving than the fact it had effected us.
The flat is big enough for at least 4 people! Staff was very nice, good location near belgravia.
No free wifi, not much around the hotel.
The hotel was ideally located just two stops on the Victoria line from Green Park. The reception staff were efficient and the room very comfortable.
The heating in the hotel was turned up a little high and there didn't seem to be any way to control it in the room other than opening a window and even then it remained rather too hot for our liking.
size of accomodation friendly/helpful staff location
I have stopped here a number of times and I go because if travelling alone it is in a good, safe location which is convenient for the tube and for most. This time it was with friends and family and they all felt they would try and book rooms here again.
Friendly welcome with an upgraded room on arrival to a suite. Clean and comfortable and a great spot for those wanting to walk central London. We had a very nice evening meal in the cosy restaurant too. Tate Britain just a few minutes walk away and Pimlico tube just around the corner. We will be back!
The bed was very comfortable and the en suit was spacious with a good shower. Located just around the corner from a tube station
The 'room' was described as a studio apartment. It was in fact a small hotel room with a micro wave and fridge in the corner. I was very disappointed with the size for the price
London is crazy expensive and this is one of the best values in the city. I love the kitchen setup and the apartments are nicely appointed..There are good markets near by and Whole Foods is a nice walk. Right on the Victoria line so good for getting around anywhere. Fantastic gym and pool for great workouts. London is always expensive and this place r The neighbor h
Although the staff is great, the check-in and checkout process is often slow and backed up. If they improve this, the place will benefit from it immensely in their impression with travelers.
car parking was a bit of a problem if you had a large car, very tight turns
excellent location, apartment came with everything we needed for a couple of nights stay (apart from a teaspoon) and had good on-site facilities.
Very expensive, and the television's were difficult to operate.
Staff did not understand english, was tried to be conned by credit card fraud by staff and manager. I will be contact card company.
Comfort clean great location
Light in lounge was too dark No tea pot Only 1 knife
Location, staff, cleanliness, just love Dolphin House.
Very low watt globes in Living room and bedroom. Management should put higher watt globes in if requested.
Nice large room, elegant, comfortable armchairs makes it a nice place to have someone over for a chat. Kitchen is very clean, we only used it for tea but it's nice to find new, spotless cups and glasses. Another plus is that bike sharing station is very close to the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful, polite and multilingual.
Kitchen/living area was a good size
Noisey hotel from both outside and loud banging of doors throughout the night even though we had requested a quieter room. Staff somewhat indifferent. Bed very hard. Decor very plain for £200+ a night... Would expect slightly nicer furniture maybe a more homely feel. Sofa dated. Main issue was noise.
Large spacious flat, pleasant location, very friendly staff. It nearly felt like home away from home, i.e. we could relax in our own sittingroom and eat selfmade breakfast before we went out for the day. I liked village living in Pimlico, I really preferred it to the throngs of Trafalgar Square. Short distance to Victoria train station was a big plus!
Door to corridor was not soundproofed, so everytime someone used the elevator, it sounded like someone was trying to enter our flat. Too little kitchen utensils to really be a selfcatering flat (chopping board would be nice?). Could also have had dishwasher in kitchen. The Nespresso Coffeemachine could really have come with other than decaf pods.
Fantastic Location 2 minutes walk from Pimlico Tube. Aprtments very clean and modern.
Given a free upgrade to room 622!! However if you are given this room do not accept it as it is locted between 2 lift shaft and is extremely noising and could not sleep at all. Requested a room change and after discussion we were given our originally allocated room!!!
Location & facilities
The Quality of the rooms and facilities were good
The staff of the leisure facility gave a "couldn't care less" attitude. Little or no information conveyed by them when asked. No locks on lockers- not very good. Was not told you had to bring your own lock. What's all that about???
All was perfectly fine. Crew was so nice and helpful. Beds fantastic! Wifi in rooms. Clean apartments. Coffee, tea, sugar, water and even cream for coffee in fridge! Breakfasts delicious. I'd love to come to Dolphin House again!
Need more lighting
Value for money and location can't be faulted. Staff were superb. Room extremely spacious and comfortable - bed excellent
Kitchen facilities were very poor. Only a fridge, microwave and kettle provided, with no microwavable crockery or utensils.
Rooms good size; upgraded on arrival for free to a 3 bedroom; separate lounge; plenty of real milk in fridge for cereal, tea, coffee and good range of teas provided in kitchen.
Double bed was style that can be split into twins. On getting onto centre of bed I could feel join. Although bed was big enough you could avoid and it did not impact on a good nights sleep, I would have liked to have seen a proper double.
much bigger than I expected, there is a sofa bed in the living room as well, sleeps 4 people really.
After staying elsewhere this place was a bit disappointing, did stay in a studio room which was very small feels too far away from the city although only a few tube stops, if u can get a great deal on a proper okay but if not I'd recommend elsewhere
