The Dolphins Hotel is close to the beach and Central Bournemouth. The Hotel is in a quiet area. Our room was clean, spacious and warm. The room had sufficient storage for clothing. There is nothing we did not like.

Everything was perfect - the room, the service the breakfast, the location, the price. You can walk to anywhere in central Bournemouth from the hotel. It is very easy and simple to navigate to and from by car.

There was a very warm welcome, my room was spacious and clean and it was very convenient for the town but at the same time not at all noisy. Couldn't really ask for much more. I usually expect a hairdryer in the room, but I suspect they would have supplied one if I had asked, they were so helpful.

The hotel is very very close to town centre and beach. The beds were comfy however the sheets did not smell very nice. The owners are a married couple and the man is very friendly however not very well presented. Breakfast was very nice however the on Sunday they hasn't changed the paper table cloth so there were stains on it from the morning before, and the washing up is obviously not their main priority as our cutlery and plates were not very clean. The hotel stinks of stale cigarettes as although it is non smoking the owners live in a flat underneath the rooms and they smoke (a lot by the smell of them as well) which makes the rooms stink, especially room 4. The woman is very rude and made us pay as soon as we arrived by saying "payment now". Two of our group arrived later than us and she did the same to them without even saying hello. The bathrooms are tiny and are badly decorated with stains on the walls and toilets and in the shower. The showers dribble water that turns hot and cold throughout. We came back to our room twice with the door being ajar where they had come to empty our bin, leaving all of our belongings at risk of being stolen. I'll never go there again.

I took my daughter on holiday by myself for the 1st time and we honestly had a lovely time the hotel owners were very welcoming and friendly and put me at ease instantly. They asked me if there was anything I needed and to just ask if there was. The hotel is so close to the beach and shops. I will be planning another stay at the hotel with my daughter next year.

Its a family run hotel, there is no reception for the hotel, so no one is waiting for you, but there is someone or the other just a bell ring away. The owners of this hotel are very friendly and helpful. This Hotel is very centrally located, 5 minutes walk to the town centre, shopping and entertaining, and atleast 10 minutes walk to the lovely beach. The hotel is nice and quiet, so you can get sound sleep. Loads of restaurants around and cafes aswell. Many people book room only, but if you need breakfast you can order it with the Hotel owners in advance for a small charge. But there are plenty restaurants which serve breakfast for as little as 2.99. Parking is very limited, about 3 cars can be parked in front of the hotel, but this is not an issue, as there is a car park just a stone throw away from the hotel, and it is about 8 pounds for 24 hours, there are other cheaper car parks as well not far away from the hotel. I simply like the hotel location and also the Dolphin family thats runs it. Lovely helpful people. Will surely go there again. I like the hotel, but some attention is needed, such as, the shower Cubicle is very small, there is no Soap or Shampoo Tray or Stand in the shower or by the wash basin. There was no Toilet Roll holder. Towel Rail is too far off the shower cabin. There is no stand at the wash basin to keep your own toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrush, shavers,or anything else. The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working and because of this the whole room would smell whenever you do your toilet job. The tea and Coffee tray needs some updating, as a single food container is used to keep all teas, coffee, sugars and milk together. The tea spoons provided to make your drinks are plastic, which slightly melts and changes shape in your cup as you pour in the boiling hot water One last thing, there is no suitcase stand.
