Holiday Inn Doncaster A1(M) Jct 36  

Convenient location not far from motorway. Nice quiet location.

Very little, clean public areas, nice design

no internet!! Food was very poor and some poor wine was overpriced. I ordered a linguini with roasted veg - the linguini was overcooked, the veg had not been roasted, it was heated in a 'sauce' that was just tinned tomatoes. I ordered a pizza which had been made with a rank tasting oil other than olive oil and a base that tasted awful. Both meals were dressed with tired, wilted rocket that immediately put one off the food

Upon arrival we were greated by very pleasant and helpful reception staff and were happily surprised to be upgraded to an executive room. The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast the next day was superb.

location near to family for visiting

booked double room bed very small and next to the wall on one side so had to wake husband to get out of bed to visit the bath room booked 3 nights only stayed 2 as did not sleep well would only recommend single occupancy in this room

staff were lovely and pool and gym were good. very comfortable room

the shower was put in for very small people!

Our stay was extremely enjoyable. All of the staff without exception were extremely helpful and friendly. .

very nice building & grounds

The staff behind reception were not very welcoming. The lady, claiming to be the duty manager, dealt with our check-in and checking out. She had a formal military style about her, did not smile and demanded payment upfront because we had a debit card as opposed to a credit card. When we checked out she asked for payment again?!? We had pointed out that payment was taken off when we checked out , to which she was surprised and said that was the normal process. Clearly we felt a bit victimised and didnt even receive an apology. I will not be back here again if the reception staff continue to be unfriendly.

i liked the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome of the staff and the help they gave me. made it a great day away from hull with my family i dont always see and i would recommend it to anyone,i will be back myself later.

Friendly staff and ideal location

The heat in the room was unberable even with the air conditioning on, I think it was under floor heating.

Rooms need a more thorough check between guests! Our room had clothing labels left in it and also the curtains were hanging off. Tv didn't work

The room was lovely the view was nice.the staff were great will be booking the same hotel next year for the same event but they've now moved it to october so see you next year.thank you.

Didn't realise our room was not in the maine building it didn't say that on booking which is O.k unless its raining I cannot walk far but due to a wedding their ended up parking the other side as the disabled bays didn't move their car all weekend.the wedding party were very loud and kept us awake till 3am shouting and banging doors so not impressed by that as we had a busy day the next day and were very tired.before i'd book again I would phone the hotel in advance and check their was no weddings it ruined the weekend not to mention the hotels reputation.

Convenient location

Room 122 is minute. The "double" bed is surrounded on 3 sides by walls; the table, chair, and luggage rack prevented access to the windows and curtains. I have never felt so "hemmed in" in the smallest b&b and this was supposed to be a double room! I requested secure parking on the reservation as I was driving an open sports car, but nobody replied. In the event the parking was excellent: why not mention it?
