Spa staff friendly clean rooms

I had a disabled room which was totally suitable for my needs and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds. Meals excellent but see opposite.

Bar meals expensive eg £12 for burger and chips - maybe we aren't used to eating in Hotels! Breakfast cold Sat am. Found the Hotel cold - my room (even with thermostat turned up), bar, conference room and room where we had dinner Sat night chilly and not very suitable for ladies in strappy dresses!

Breakfast and the staff were very accommodating. The leisure facilities were good and to have a swim and sauna before breakfast.

The shower was good and the bed comfy but we could have had that anywhere else - not impressed

What a disappointment the spa and pool closed and this had been the sole reason for choosing this Inn after not having a break away for over ten years we were very much looking forward to our relaxing weekend only to find they were closed yet no reduction in price offered - Then to top it off we were rudely accused of not paying the bill by the morning staff with no apology offered when she found her error - never again will we stay at this Inn and we cut our stay short. Thanks for nothing Holiday Inn

It was not holiday inns fault it was booking . com for following my request!! I wanted 2 twin rooms and when I got there they knew nothing about it!! So I will book direct with holiday inn next time!!

Slow service on book in staff chatting 4 staff behind reception. Toilet flush ver difficult to make work.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and inviting. Health club and pool added bonus and well managed with flexible times.

That I paid £80pn for 4 nights when the holiday were running 2 offers that would have saved me a considerable amount of money and included meals but the offers were not mentioned as I booked though booking.com and not the hotel. Televisions need upgrading.

We stay here every time we return to the Doncaster area to visit family. It is a good location for our needs. The staff are friendly and we enjoy our stays.

Extremely small room. Although very good Indian restaurant within walking distance, not much else close by without taking the car. No fridge in the room - although not sure where they would have put one!

The restaurant staff were attentive and helpful, the room itself was clean and well designed and presented. Parking was easy. The breakfast acceptable.

The welcome I received when I reached the hotel from the receptionist was terrible and the main reason I am spending the time writing this review. She was clearly not a happy person, I actually had to ask her to watch her tone in how she addressed me, simply because I had the audacity to ask for a vat receipt when my card was processed! Not a good ambassador for Holiday Inn Doncaster. I presume it was the end of a long shift and her patience had already left the building...

Good location just off the a1m. Comfortable room and enjoyable dinner.

Staff were not particularly helpful in trying to locate my wife's jacket that she left in the dining room. It was never found.

The location is perfect, just off the A1 so useful for an overnight stay on the way up north. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was lovely, clean, had everything we needed. I would recommend the Holiday Inn.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn. It is clean, friendly and offers a wide choice. The restaurant food was excellent service very good. Room had everything I needed bathroom very clean. I would certainly return although I hope the roadworks will be complete by next year.

No complaints at all

We arrived on Friday evening after a 9 hour drive from out holiday in Devon with our 7 month old baby. The room seemed fine until we realised the air con was not working. The staff came straight away and could not fix the unit so gave us another room. The new room was right next door to a function room where the music was blaring out til 12.45, our baby kept waking up because of this. Eventually at at approx 1am we finally got some sleep. We will not be staying at the hotel again and I would advise that people with children be put in the other section of the hotel when there is a function on.

Very little, clean public areas, nice design

no internet!! Food was very poor and some poor wine was overpriced. I ordered a linguini with roasted veg - the linguini was overcooked, the veg had not been roasted, it was heated in a 'sauce' that was just tinned tomatoes. I ordered a pizza which had been made with a rank tasting oil other than olive oil and a base that tasted awful. Both meals were dressed with tired, wilted rocket that immediately put one off the food
