Good staff; good breakfast; excellent wi-fi, parking; tea and coffee provided in the bedroom. No shampoo or bath gel provided. Dim lighting in bedroom. View of rubbish tip from bedroom window.

Fairly nice and modern room and shower, big TVs set. Room was smely, no hot water, worst scrambled eggs I ever tasted.

The only thing that I liked was that it was clean. Otherwise, it is tired and needs renovating. Overpriced for what it is, which is a converted house on the side of a very busy main road in Reading.

Location on the A4 easy to find and proximity to City centre Very good for my purposes which were to photograph the Eastern end of the Kennet & Avon Canal. Our room was comfortable, clean and well heated. The design of the Shower was good - no problems with operation. The 'pub' across to road was good for our evening meal for choice, quality and price. This was a good experience and I will return probably in May 2011. Sincere thanks. Oh, the breakfast bar choice was excellent and the 'English Breakfast' all that I would wish for.

The member of staff at the reception desk could not have been more helpful. Hotel was well decorated and generally well-maintained. Should be milk on the tables for coffee and tea at breakfast.

Miły ciepły pokój z ładną dużą łazienką. Internet i śniadanie w cenie pokoju. Czasami zbyt długo trzeba było czekać na śniadanie.

Wir waren schon mehrmals in diesem Hotel und waren mit allem zufrieden. Es wäre schön, wenn es zum Frühstück eine Scheibe Käse und auch Margarine - nicht nur Butter - gäbe.

Die Lage war optimal. Preis und Leistung war in Ordnung. Die Matratzen der Betten waren sehr unkomfortabel. Sie haben bei mir Rückenschmerzen verursacht. Habe nicht gut geschlafen.
