The walls are thin and so conversations in the corridor and television in other rooms are quite audible. Some bathroom fixtures were a bit creaky, but that's a quibble.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable, we slept very well. Our bathroom only had a bath but we knew that when we booked but there was a toilet and sink. Very good sized room with tea and coffee provided. We enjoyed our stay.
Very kind personel. Very good location. Comfortable accomodation with very good breakfast. Close to the downtown. Terrace in front and behind the house.
Parking arranged for extra payment (behind the house), very near is public parking place (I did not check the tarif).
Mine Host, very personable. The sheets were clean.
Very dated decor.Untastefully decorated. The room was basically dirty. No one to greet us on arrival, very casually run establishment.
Location great couldn't be better only a 4-5 mintue walk straight into town.
I requested a twin room and got a double, the room and entire guest house was filthy when we entered our room you could see the dust everywhere, the shower and bathroom were unclean furniture terribly dated. Breakfast was ok though the dining room was unclean and the smell was unpleasent.
Very friendly host, cosy room and close to the city centre.
Location compared to where we needed to go. Very pleasant member of staff who was helpful and talkative. Excellent room location for 2 smokers for the rear garden and one disabled which could be accessed from the rear parking. Room was light and airy.
Parking was extremely tight! Some minor cosmetic property repairs required. Bathroom a little cramped
The Villa is well located and the owner is nice.
It was dirty (dust and bugs). The deco is very old.
The location is good located, near by the city centre. We had a room with exit in the garden. Enough room for a one night trip. Good breakfast.
Parking is a challange, all is so narrow. At first look everything looks nice, but the room and the window had many cobwebs, the garden furniture could have a restauration. En-suite was clean.
Breakfast, friendly staff, car park space on site.
The place needs a deep clean from top to bottom and redecoration.
The location is perfect, bed and bathroom clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. If your goal is to visit the town, not to stay in the hotel, then it is a good place to stay.
Dust everywhere. No shower in our room, only bathtub.
Everything was well organised before our arrival.
Great location . Rooms are good value for the price . A fantastic breakfast
The decor a bit dated and could do with a good clean
Excellent breakfast , location was good too
The whole place just needs a good clean , very dusty everywhere. We arrived to our room which had a very dirty toilet !
Position was convenient for strolling into the city .Friendly host. Good Breakfast.
The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, closed to any of attractions by walk. The decoration of the room is very much lovely.
There were bedbugs in my room, which made me could not sleep the whole night. Also the shower tube is a little short and you have to hold it all the time, which is inadequate.
Close to everything Very comfy bed!
It is very convenient and comfortable. Nice staff.
very friendly and helpful staff, tidy guesthome and superb breakfast. would recommend to others and visit myself again,
-excellent central location, you can walk everywhere. - car park on site - quite nice breakfast - friendly owners
- the room smelt very damp and musty. - decor is awful - not that clean (bedding was clean), but overall feel is shabby, shame though as there is so much potential, but they could do with the help of someone like the Hotel Inspector.
Owner very welcoming and had given us ground floor room as requested. On site parking. Good breakfast.
Small room which was rather jaded.
John was friendly and a good host. Good location.
Bathroom old fashioned and not very clean, shampoo spray for shower. Bedroom dirty and dusty.
The location and being able to walk into the city. The attentiveness of the owner and the fact he got up earlier so that we could eat our breakfast as we had an early start. His helpfulness generally.
As has been mentioned by previous reviewers, the place could do with a make over and a good clean - it is dusty in places, but the bedding and bathroom were clean. You get what you pay for at the end of the day!! If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful then this is for you. If you are expecting luxury don't go here!
The owner was very nice. The price was good for Bath. We had a quiet room and we're able to book parking.
We had the vegetarian breakfast that was a bit odd. A greasy egg accompanied by beans, tinned tomatoes, raw carrot and radishes.
great convenient location, reasonably priced, easy access,
Breakfast was very plain and ingredients budget Curtains/window glazing not great for any attempt at a lie in
