There was nothing to like as it was an absolutely disasterous place to stay.

There were no staff available at all; just a piece of paper left with name and room number. The room was dirty and the shower cubicle somewhat worse. When I went down for breakfast the following morning the room had a closed sign on and when I went in the tables hadn't been cleared away from the day before!!

Very lovely and charming place. Very warm welcome. Clean and good location. The owner of the place is very friendly.

The Dorset Villa was perfectly situated for our purposes. The staff/owners were very friendly and extremely helpful and the breakfast was perfect for us.

Cluttered - features on every corner of the 2 flights of stairs made them difficult to negotiate carrying luggage and a potential Health and Safety risk. Cleaning products stored under bench in reception does not give good impression. In need of refit, redecoration and good clean. No welcome pack in room. Use of extension leads rather than having correctly positioned plugs. No means of contacting staff on arrival since keys were left in room doors - 'emergency' phone number rang out - and needed to clarify parking possibilities.

Close to downtown and can access easily, only 10 minutes walk.

For the price location was excellent. The owners were both lovely to talk with.

Was dust on the dining room flower decoration.

It was nice a warm. Lovely shower. It was really quiet.

5 minutes walk to town, really good breakfast, a really sociable host, reasonably comfortable room...it ticked all the boxes for my son and I. Dont expect a high quality of decor or facilities and you won't be disappointed - it is an old building and rooms are reasonably priced. I'd happily stay here again.

Excellent location, very friendly owners. Nice cooked breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and warm.

No shower in the family room (room 5) - only a bath and a jug! No shower gel or shampoo provided.

This was a relaxed and friendly B&B. Atmosphere was informal and laid-back.

The matress was a little unconfortable, but nothing I couldn't happily sleep on.

Clean, warm, quiet and friendly place. Had a nice twin room at back of hotel. More than I expected for the bargain price, and after reading a few negative reviews. Good cooked breakfast, and 5 minutes walk into town.

Parking a bit of a problem, but it is in Bath period. I always park my car on the edge of town and walk back in, otherwise you are dealing with 2 hour parking places etc

Very shabby; hadn't been redecorated for many many years, curtains etc in need of washing. Kettle too big/ basin too small to fill it in. No toiletries in bathroom unless you like washing your face in antibacterial hand soap! Towels old. Bed had more lumps than a bowl of sugar, but linen clean. Interior photos on website not what we saw!!

Very friendly owners. John let us park our car early even though was before we could check in. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast

Not much not to like. Just remember the rooms are budget so don't expect everything to be perfect. If you want perfection, dig deeper into your wallet and pay more!! Also parking could be an extra cost. I stayed in January and parked at the rearer of the property, not a problem as it was quiet, might be a problem in busier times.
