Food was excellent
No water in the room
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was excellent with a fabulous variety. The swimming pool, jacuzzi , steam room was lovely. The whole hotel had a relaxing atmosphere. A very enjoyable stay.
Funny smell in the bathroom coming from the sink.
The restaurant was 1st class, amazing food and service was very good. Location was ok, very good for Codonas and beach area but a fair bit away from the centre. Rooms were well equipped and very clean though decor does need modernising! Very 80's! Lovely little bar area to sit and you can also eat from a different menu at the bar.
While the breakfast selection was good the service was terrible! There was a queue waiting to be seated and there was not one clear table! There seemed to be no sense of importance from staff about this as they just dondered around! Had to ask twice for my tea and didnt get any milk. If it had been busy i could maybe sympahise but it was not even half full! The decor does need updating. I did not find the bed very comfy & the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything!!
Large bed, nice deep bath
The window in the room did not open and was airless
food was poor.
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff.
The room was very hot and and the only option I could find was to have heating on or off.
Good parking and central location Near beach and restaurants. Asked for quiet room and got one Good choice at breakfast Complimentory newspaper and tastey cookie on arrival.
Dinner menu very limited only one main choice on set menu. Bar meal prices overpriced.
Location had great access to the beach. Wide selection to choose from at breakfast. Check in and out was smooth. Made to feel welcome at the hotel.
Staff at the swimming pool weren't very friendly and disappointed with the service from the bar.
The facilities are very good and the staff are warm and accommodating.
The bath in my room need to be change.
Hilton Honours room (152) was excellent as was staff.
The Internal room initially allocated was rather small and on the top floor with a skylight window and was noisy due to seagulls. (I paid for upgrade to Hilton Honours room which was excellent!!)
We asked to change room and it was no problem at all - the other room was too hot
Room size and location within hotel. Bar area Evening meal Staff were very friendly and welcoming
Creaking noises all night long. Most of breakfast was almost cold.
Close to beach
Lack of bus service from rain station to near hotel
Internet cost 15 GBP, crazy you can go to any coffee shop, and it is free. (when you are paying 150 GBP from an room, that must be included) Noise from the HVAC in the room
It was near the shops and golf courses staff in the main were friendly food was good
Our room was in the centre of the building and the cooling system is not adequate for this purpose we had difficulty sleeping
Spa is v.vasic but Jenna done a great job on my manicure and pedicure. Made me feel comfortable and welcome. Liked the cookie on arrival and breakfast buffet was v.good.
Old fashioned rooms. Dirty mouldy silicone sealing bath, dirty old tiles, looked v.run down in the rooms. But reception etc looks all new... Only given 1key card, had to request a 2nd. One of the disabled doors at reception doesn't work automatically. All other doors too heavy to pull/push, being pregnant this was an issue. Breakfast staff were nice, but think they were short staffed. Spa closed on the Sunday we were there due to short staff!
Perfect location seaside, shopping restaurants... Would definately stay there again could not fault anything... Staff always so helpful
Great Breakfast Near the sea Comfy bed Complimentary warm cookie!
Noise from seagulls on roof (room on 2nd floor) Shower not working properly
Poor standard decor, why not free wifi like any other decent hotel?
Pleasant staff good service Relaxing hotel although in the centre of a busy area
Great staff, comfortable room
Very warm room, only got cooler when opening the window which opened on to the inner atrium, due to the design of the hotel, this meant noise from the bar and also from the seagulls hence not a good sleep. Also wifi being upgraded and signal intermittent which was annoying.
Our original room had a stale smell due to very poor ventilation. Net curtain was missing from internal window. Second room was better with a window to the outside, but had two single beds. The price of drinks in the bar was inordinately high! There was no free wi-fi provision in the room. In a big hotel in a city like Aberdeen this is unacceptable!!
clean hotel, high standard you'd expect of a double tree.
Expensive breakfast, £15 is a bit steep! Expensive internet, £10 per day! seagulls woke me up at 2am.
It was a short stay but we enjoyed it.
We had a disturbed sleep due to a noise that sounded like a fan above our room,we reported it in the morning and they said they'd look into it and apologised.
