We have used the hotel on numerous occasions and find it fulfills our needs. The platinium rooms are pleasant however we felt the standard rooms were a bit grubby. The hotel has ample parking yet remains close to a host of facilities including those offered by the city centre. Slightly disappointed by breakfast. Deliberately visited the main building for breakfast as previously found the executive lounge's food to be only warm - is this due to being transported from the main building? Sadly the main building weren't much better. Fruit Salad was missing for ove 30 minutes, fried eggs for over 10 minutes and other items were warm and slightly stodgy. When paying the premium for the executive floor and room I would expect better attention to detail in terms of room preparation. Is a checklist used? While there were the usual offerings a few were missing - dressing gown(replaced by a peach offering!), glasses to accompany drinks in fridge and ample shampoo and soaps for 2 people. In addition more attention has to be made to the cleanliness of glassware and crockery.

Location was excellent, short walk to city centre (10 minutes) and even shorter to beach (5 minutes). Room and facilities excellent and very comfortable bed. The noise from a disco (and noise from people outside our window) held in the hotel on Saturday night until the early hours spoilt our weekend. Not our scene and would not have booked if aware of it.

Your hotel in Aberdeen excelled our expectations in price, comfort, quality of food, friendliness and courteousness of all staff. My wife and I will certainly be back for another short break sooner rather than later. In our estimation you are a 5* hotel.

The location of the hotel was great, restaurants were directly across the road and the shops were just a 10minutue walk up onto union street! The swimming pool and relaxationsuite was excellent for going and relaxing, open from early until 10 o'clock at night aswell! I have stayed in meny of hiltons hotels and this one was defintly the worst! Was shocked by the standard of the room!! Unsafe cables hanging from the tv , hole in the wall which was just covered up by a picture , our bed was ment to be a double but really it was just 2 single beds joined together , there were marks all over the Walls and stains on the carpet, ripped head board on the bed. The room was awful, there is no way the hitlon doubletree can class room '207' as 4star! Was so disappointed !

Premier rooms were spacious. Hotel and rooms was clean. Pool closed early on hogmanay which was expected, but also closed early for next 2 nights which was inconvenient as when travelling with children it was why we chose hotel.

Doubletree is undeniably a good hotel to stay at in Aberdeen. My only comment is that in December this year, the heating / thermostat in the rooms and corridors ( of rooms and the gym ) were cold. I took extra clothes and found I was very glad I took them with me to wear.

Platinum Club rooms especially nice, dedicated lounge for breakfast, comfortable bed. I stayed in 2010 in a standard room that had a view on the lobby with a window you cannot open. Room was average clean. The price difference is justified.

Easy to park, fairly central location, know standard of room etc you are likely to recieve. Room overlooked reception and was quite noisy, woulk be better if you had option to choose quieter room.

Mostly efficient and friendly reception staff. The central location. Very dirty stairwell carpets and litter on the stairs that was still there over 12 hours later. The room I had was tired and needed a make over - especially the bathroom.

Very comfortable. Would go back, suited me needs for the one night stay required. Very clean, very comfortable. Probably just in need of a bit of updating. Carpets were a bit the worse for wear. Otherwise, no problems.

Very clean, comfortable and relaxing, staff we excellent. First room we had was right next to the main lounge's fire door with slammed shut throughout the night and early morning, was annoying so asked oro a move the next morning with was given straight away and handled very well with out any fuss, so a good save by the staff. It was an excellent room just adjust the door closer or replace with another and all is good.

Steam room and pool was good. Quality of food could improve. For example I asked for my steak to be cooked as medium and recieved it well done. Chips where overly greasy as where the onionrings. And I paid £45 for this meal, I could have cooked it better myself and I wouldn't call myself a chef! Also if I ordered room service I wasn't trusted enough for you to put it on my room and was told that I could leave without paying? So everytime I ordered something I had to make my way down to the restauraunt to pay by card. Frustrating.

The staff were really friendly and the whole ambience of the hotel was relaxed and welcoming The only complaint is that the air conditioning unit in the bedroom was very noisy - to the extent that it did keep us awake! Everything else was perfect.
