Location excellent, nice clean room with decent bathroom. Great breakfast, warm cookie on arrival lovely gesture.
Refuse to pay for wifi in a 4* hotel & would be nice to have a fridge in the room.
Nice relaxing break. Hotel very nice surroundings. Leisure facilities excellent. Breakfast excellent.
No Free wifi in rooms, it's an essential service these days, not an extra
The closeness of the hotel to places we wanted to see, staff were friendly and helpful.
We were given a room which was supposed to have queen sized bed it was only a double, I was travelling with my seven year old son and there was no spare bed for him, didn't like the fact he was supposed to share with me. Was offered another room at 7pm when he was in bed and settled!.
Very helpful staff and a nice friendly atmosphere. room was clean and fresh.
needs a bit of updating, a bit tired in places i.e. fire stop doors stuck open and the odd bits of wallpaper peeling
Not a lot
Decor, noise, faulty shower, dirty bathroom.
The buffet breakfast was great.swimming pool and sauna were good.staff were helpful
We were in a room that could be used as 2 adjoining rooms and we could hear them talking and tv until 1am.I did ask for a quiet room which i felt wasnt provided. The shower/bath mixer would not stay down to allow bath water to come out so I had to hold it until the bath filled
Welcoming staff at breakfast & reception . Cookies also excellent with a cuppa tea in room a nice welcome
Not being told about ordering fried eggs.
Love the pool/spa.
The room was tired and badly in need of an upgrade. Old style heating and bathroom. (Room 102). Not fresh and clean smelling - felt like a smokers room. Noisy next to the stairs and lift. Disappointed as a regular Hilton honours member. There was an issue with breakfast but had to show email confirmation in order to get breakfast. Love the location but may use elsewhere for my birthday treat in December :-(
close to town centre nice bar area
hard uncomfortable bed
The staff at reception
Facilities at pool excellent. Lovely Breakfast. Cookies on arrival brilliant.
Not having free WiFi
staff where friendly and kind rooms where clean and tidy hotel is close to beach and town centre
prices for the drink at the bar.
Reception staff were excellent
Bar staff require training
Pool was good location and parking
On arrival given room 100 next to reception and opposite the toilet door ,as there was a wedding taking place we asked for a quiet room, when we returned 2 hours later we were given room 132 as being very quiet, after returning from a night out in Aberdeen to our room the noise from below from the wedding was incredible, this lasted till 00.45 where ever items were vibrating on the desk Advised the reception in the morning who were very nice about it but could not explain why this was a quiet room!! Given a £20 reduction but not worth the ruined weekend
Location, breakfast options
Shower dribbled at you. There was mould around the bath and the shower head leaked badly.
great room, good nights sleep, well trained excellent staff, good food
the menu was a bit pricey but the food was good
location car park friendly staff hotel with exercise equipment
poor air conditioning in room 124 no opening window and air conditioning could not cool down the room.
Easy parking, good location
Being charged £100 more than Booking.com price on express checkout bill. Fortunately we checked, and Heather on reception sorted it out.
staff made the stopover very enjoyable very helpfull and friendly.
only fault is the prices at the bar
We had booked an "Executive Club Room"with access to the "Club Lounge" Having stayed in good quality hotels in other countries, particularly in SE Asia, we expected access to at least drinks and nibbles in the evening and more personalised guest services. The reality was basically nothing available and a staff, in general, with other things do do rather than attend to the needs of their guests. The rooms were too hot, with no airconditioning except a window that barely opened 50 - 60mm. Other issues like thin and threadbare towels and rather old looking bedlinen. We always had to ask for things that should be checked and standard for any type of hotel room at this supposed level. Very disappointing.
Friendly staff - good location
Bedroom tired - were told our room was due to be refurbished and it looked as if it needed done.
location next to beach, staff very good, pool, very good weekend rate
like most aberdeen hotels 100% occupancy means its getting tired, stayed in the premier rooms last time much better.
Breakfast was good plenty of choice, room was fresh and clean, the bed was comfy
The swimming pool area, sauna and steam room were all dirty, bits of hair and fluff and stained floors, wasn't nice at all
facilities such as swimming pool, gym etc was an advantage.
Paying for WIFI in your room, this is expensive and very outdated, most hotels offer this service for free. Restaurant staff didn't write down orders, therefore some dishes or drinks were not delivered, relying on memory may look good, but I prefer to get what I ordered. Bedrooms were very basic for the cost. Lounge area was functional but not relaxing, to bright with a harsh feel.
