With a waterfront location, this 4-star hotel has a rooftop restaurant and a bar, both with views out over Lincoln’s skyline. The staff were welcoming and the room very clean and comfortable. It was our honeymoon and we received a nice card from the reception staff. The breakfast was good with plenty of selection of foods whilst overlooking the cathedral and water. Cookies received on arrival contained nuts. Car parking is limited and could be cheaper.

Loved the location . Hotel well designed but pity the balconies off the top floor bar aren't larger. The days we stayed were very warm and the 2 small balconies were crammed. Disappointed that being residents we couldn't get a seat - they were all taken with non residents which was annoying . Bed very comfy and food good. Breakfast lacked any fresh fruit which wasn't good . Will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.

Excellent location We were told that there was no need to book car parking but when we arrived it was full and we had to park a short distance away which meant another drive round the busy area-slightly inconvenient.The wet room was badly designed and after a shower the floor was flooded.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good location. Clean room. Nice bar and restaurant. Nice cocktails! Didn't get our warm chocolate cookies on arrival as promised! Asked for our tickets to be validated and when we got to the car park only one had been validated, we came in two cars. Our coffee, milk etc were not replaced in the room. This was seen to when we asked, but went all day without this being done. View disappointing, we requested a balcony and paid quite a bit for the room, only to look at a car park.

The location was excellent ,the room and food were lovely ,staff very nice . well we came as it was a special occasion for us however the room noise disturbance was terrible with pipes clanging on and off all night and then early am about 5am the start off some boiler struck up so in the end we had to get up .we went to check out and the girl did not ask how are stay was as is the usual question so we had to promt her to ask and then we did inform her of this constant din ,there was no apology ,our night was spoilt with lack of sleep .

the hotel and facilities were excellent, a comfortable stay the staff at breakfast were more interested in gossiping with each other rather than clearing plates off the tables or offering more tea/coffee, also on check in my wife mentioned we were celebrating my 50th birthday only to receive blank looks from the reception staff
