Proximité du port pour prendre le ferry le matin
nearness to ferry poirt
All in all the room was good. I was in a three bed room with my parents. Small but comfortable and everything one needs for a one or two nights. Very good english breakfast for a reasonalbale Price.
The high stairs to the entrance. The parking situation was ok but not great. For people with light sleep not good cause of the Train Station right next door. And sidewalks from the hotel to town center very dirty. But that has got nothing to do with the hotel.
Very welcoming. Because we are light sleeprrs, host changed our room from the front to the back, no problem. Very clean, bsthroom was small, but did not present any problemds. We would go back again.
The family in the next room had a loud argument during the late evening, but that was not the owners fault.
Clean and comfortable plus parking.
George was wonderfully accommodating to us during our stay. He made us feel like we were his most important guests. So down to earth and very kind. Our room was very clean, and enough room to move. Bathroom was typically small, but did the trick nicely. Breakfast was so delicious.
The beds were not particularly comfortable, as I could feel every spring. So sad to say that, as the stay was SO perfect in every other way!
Close to railway station and a few minutes walk from town centre. Host very helpful .
All the steps going up . Plus it did not include breakfast . But , we knew that when we booked it .
Location - handy for the town Close to rail station Good reception
Right across from the train station. Walking distance to town centre and castle.
It was a great place to stay at, we got a very warm welcome from the owner, who couldn't be more helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Couldn't really fault the place.
Perfect location to start the journey back to Calais. Friendly staff, walking distance to city center, value for money....
I liked the staff (always nice and helpful) and the location (it's really close to the train station)
The owner George was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast
Traffic noise Steep steps outside
Handy for the ferry port
Room was clean and functional. Tea and biscuits provided which is always a plus. There is a train track nearby but it is only a pleasant rumble rather than a racket. Five minutes' walk to main part of town. George (proprietor) was really lovely. No complaints!
Good breakfast. George and "long suffering wife" great hosts. Very accommodating. Pub and train station across the street. Free parking. Short walk to downtown.
Lots of stairs to climb.
our room was oldfashioned, in a very beautiful way, the englisch breakfast a real delight and the staff very helpful and kind. We would come again....
We needed a stop over en route to France. This was prefect for us. Seconds from port. Left clean, rested and refreshed for not a lot of cash. Owner very friendly and obliging.
When we arrived, dog tired from flight, George the owner greeted us, brought our bags up stairs, made us very comfortable and then directed us to a nearby pub with delicious British food and beer. The breakfasts were scrumptious. During our stay, he and his wife were very helpful in suggestions for sightseeing and all. He was a wealth of information of the history of the area. We cannot wait to return and renew our friendship with this amazing couple.
Lack of elevator ( lift), however, the owner did carry our bags in and out for us.
L'emplacement; proche du centre de la ville.
Le bruit de la rue
The room was very clean and in a nice location in Dover. The owner is very friendly. All we needed was there and everything was as expected!
Maybe the room was a little small but it was good enough for us in our stay for one night.
great site and close to train and downtown. Very hospitable owner and gave suggestions for dinner.
the town was a little run down
We were greeted by the owner who straight away was very helpful, he helped with our luggage and changed the room he had booked for us to one on the ground floor so that we wouldn't have to use the stairs. The breakfast was well cooked and tasty. The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to help us, allowing us to leave our luggage with them and arranging a taxi for later in the day. They were both delightful people. The B&B is in an excellent location for people arriving in Dover by train.
