The Location and staff.

The mattress is very old.

Very friendly and helpful staff, decent location - within waking distance of most sights.

The wifi wasn't free as advertised, and the breakfast was alright - not great.

Clean and very good location for the money.

Private room was very small. My room was on the third floor and with no elevator it was a hassle to get the luggage up and down.

55 stairs from reception to our room no lifts breakfast was dreadfull only went once and went out the other days

Receptionish could not be more helpful, tv worked very well & tea making facilities were up to scratch. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Water system and sound from other rooms was a little loud. Not sure if cereal and toast constitutes a continental breakfast.

Staff friendly, as noted plenty of tea,coffee and milk. Bathroom in good condition and sheets and towels were very well laundered. Excellent location. Good value for money.

Bed is due for a replacement, also a new bedspread would be a big plus. The beige carpet lining the lower part of the walls is very detracting.

The location of the hotel was easily accessible to victoria within few minutes walking distance. The hotel allowed me to leave my baggage in the lobby before departure time.

At the time of booking it stated that its a continental breakfast which it wasnt at all. It was just a toast, tea, cereal and yoghrt. Continental breakfast consist of variety of foods as you would find in others hotel. It need to be improved to ensure that it is value for money. The hotel need to improve its standard in terms of having a toilet within the room. Carpets need to be replaced. The decor and interior need to be updated to modern. The electricity went off at the time, having to deal with it. The hotel good do better to provide a good quality living standard to ensure the travellers are comfortable and relaxed. Most of the staff were foreigners who could hardly understand.

The breakfast was awful, we went elsewhere after the first morning.

Near Victoria station,easy to go everywhere in London!!

Poor breakfast

I likes the fact that the room was warmed all night and I could prepare tea, coffee and milk in the bedroom, the windows were shadowed so the public couldnt see me from the outside.

Tiny, tiny bathroom, the floor cranked a lot and I heard too much noise from the bedroom beside me. The recepcionist didnt woke me up.

Friendliness and helpfulness

They wanted me to make my payment in dollars which I found irregular.

The location was good. Easy walking distance from Victoria Station.

Price is too high for what is on offer..

Clean & Comfortable. Beds comfortable and clean. Great location for access to rail & coach. Very good breakfast. Staff very friendly and polite. Great value for money. TV worked great. Will definitely return.

Stairs very narrow and steep if you need to lug a heavy suitcase. Room was fairly small but practical.

Localization close to victoria station and victoria coach station.

Bedrooms and bathrooms not very confortable and the hotel is not very calm during night.

5 min walk away from Victoria station which was what we needed because we had to catch an early flight from Gatwick the next morning (Gatwick express goes from London Victoria to Gatwick).

Room was quite cramp with no space for large luggages or if you need to open your bags for repacking, etc. wc was small and water temperature and pressure fluctuated a lot. Shower floor was almost on the same level as the rest of the wc and shower curtains could not keep the water out. This ended up with our wc being flooded most of the time.

Great location for the theatre, just a short walk. Room, although a little dated, was clean and comfortable. We had our own shower room which was just fine for our one night stay in the city. You get what you pay for and this was a perfect budget hotel for getting to the Victoria tube station, theatres and within walking distance of all the top attractions. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Downing Street, along the Thames, Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park, Oxford Street, Covent Gardens, China Town, Trafalgar Sqare, Houses of Parliment and so much more. Perfect location, clean comfortable room at a very reasonable price.

The room and shower room were very small, but this didn't really bother us as it was just a place to get ready for the theatre and a comfortable bed for the night. The stairs were a bit steep and there are lots depending where your room is. This was fine for us but any guests who have trouble with stairs would be best to call in advance to secure a room without too many stairs. We had read the reviews about breakfast and decided just to treat ourselves to a lie in then walked round the corner for a full English at Wetherspoons!
