The only good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to Victoria Station and London Underground. Very small room with no air circulation. Put in a room on the top floor even though I told them I had very heavy luggage. Basically told unable to move to a lower floor room. Booking.com stated that hotel had wi-fi in all rooms. Had to go down to office to get connection and then lost connection when I got back up to room. No water pressure in the shower and had to wait close to 15 minutes to get any hot water. Then water ran hot/cold. Had to adjust to taps constantly so I wouldn't get burned. When I checked out in the morning the desk clerk did not even look up and no thank you for staying with us. Would never stay here again especially with all the other choices in the area. Rating for this hotel would be 1 out of 10 for the price you pay!

Great location, great and very helpful staff, breakfast it was basic but still good. The hotel is quite simple, and a bit expensive for its kind, but if you are in london to go around and you are going to use the hotel to sleep only, then it is perfect. The room was always clean and they always provided me with a clean towel and sheets. The fact that internet is restricted, this should have been mentioned in the hotel description that you have to pay, walls are really thin, could hear everything and since my room was next to the stairs, I could hear all kind of movements especially during the night. Also I did not like the smell in the room.

I found the location good. Staff were nice and friendly but would not stay here again. The hotel itself was very grubby, carpet on the lower half of walls, carpets looked old and stained, could do with repainting, curtains barely fit window. Breakfast was very poor quality, toast, only sugary cereals and extremely unhealthy yogurts. En Suite was tiny and uncomfortable. Bed was lumpy. Overall impression was drab and old

Friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. The hotel is close to undeground -Victoria Station. Walking distance to the main sights - Buckingham Palace etc.Small pubs, caffees, shops nearby. Also morning open air market - fruit, vegetables. The hotel is close to the road, so in the morning a bit noisy.

Staff very helpful, however I would have expected a much better standard of room for the money. We had to accept this one as a hospital appointment meant we had to be in London early the following day and all other hotels were fully booked apart from the ultra expensive.

Its convenience for the station and for the sights and shops. The staff reacted promptly to the problem of carrying 2 very heavy suitacases up a narrow stair for na overnight stay by changing our room to a groundfloor one. Nothing really. It is what it is. I did not see a lift and that would have been a problem if the staff had not changed our room to a ground floor one.

I can't think of a single nice thing to say about this horrid hotel. Rooms were small and shabby. The tv was precariously dangling from the ceiling with a mass of rather dubious wires trailing from it. We had a twin room with a view of a brick wall from our window. Between the two of us we were left one teabag to share, together with powdered milk - yuk! Breakfast took place in a basement, and was described as being continental, but the only item we found edible was the toast - the cerial and yogurt didn't look at all appetising. The shower room was just beyond depressing, and smelt of bad drains. In a word it was shambolic, and I definitely won't be going back there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I left there feeling like I'd been mugged.

The location of this b&b was fantastic - located at walking distance from one of the main railway stations that connects to various other tube locations. The area was also very quiet, considering its close proximity to the main hot spots. My husband and I had requested for a double bed, since previous experiences ( at other hotels) taught us that even though the room is advertised as a double room, it may have single separate beds in them. Despite our request and confirmation that it will be done, we were provided a very small room with 2 separate single beds. Upon advising the hotel staff of our written request (which was made 6 months before), we were told that they never got that request and cant do anything now. Aside from that experience, the staff were quite friendly and helped us with any query.

“The room was 'cosy', but really, when you are out all day you only need to come back to a bed, a cup of tea, and a hot shower and this room had all those things, the shower was powerful too not a dribble. Breakfast was just enough. Would stay here again” Susan, High Peak |
