Would have appreciated being informed that they would not accept cash payment for accommodation prior to making our booking. This caused an unnecessary uncomfortable situation on arrival.

The Dovey Inn is fantastic value for money, very clean and comfortable with extremely friendly staff. Our room had a seaview and a very large relaxing bath which was very welcoming after a hard day's walking. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and we will definately be returning to Aberdovey and will stay again at the Dovey Inn.

Good welcome. We had a room with a great view of the estuary. Room was comfy and clean. It was very good value.

Our room was above the bar of a busy pub - the noise might be an issue if you're early to bed. Didn't bother us.

Great room overlooking the sea, modern, clean and comfortable, excellent location right opposite the beach.Sunday lunch was good value, lovely food with nice sized portions!

We had the family room which was very good value. Good ensuite in one of the rooms (rooms were adjoining which also was very good when you have young children). Staff very friendly.

I was a little concerned when seeing the thinness of the quilts on the beds, thought I was going to be quite cold in the night but that was not the case, but the beds could have been made to look a little more inviting by putting a valance on them.

Top marks for the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Eating in was also good value for money and meals were tasty.

Our room was not cleaned at all and had to complain as towel rail was not heated and towels remained wet. The bed was also uncomfortable and gave us aches and pains every morning.Coffee tray however was changed but had to wash the cups before use as they were sticky.

The pub atmosphere.

The room was very dirty, load, and cold due to the fact that one could not properly close the windows.

Friendly Staff, most of whom we new from previous visits. Chris, the duty manager, was particularly helpful.

Adequately furnished room with plenty of space. Excellent bathroom. Good meals and beer in bar downstairs. Having stayed at other B&|B's in Aberdovey, it was excellent value for money.

Some noise from pipes, but not a big problem.

We had a great welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Dyfi Inn. Location is terrific, with fabulous views across the Dyfi estuary to Ynyslas. The landlord and his team very friendly and helpful. The family room was ideal for us, as our teenage son had his own bedroom.

Nothing negative really. The only reason for slightly downgrading 'Facilities' in Q2 above was because the soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom had obviously not been checked as they were both empty, but this was quickly rectified.

Very noisey at night, breakfast to expensive at £6.95 no toast until we was on the way back upstairs bit late when you have eaten the fry up, shower was cold , floor squeaks like mad if you stay on the first floor, door to room was like opening a door to a haunted house bit of oil wouldnt have gone a miss, other than that allright
