From the friendly warm welcome of the proprietors to the immaculate and tasteful rooms I could not fault Downsview...very impressed.

Courteous and helpful staff, gorgeous family room, good breakfast, great location to explore Kent. Great pub/restaurant nearby. Perhaps the hotel could install a wifi repeater to extend the wifi signal to all rooms would be my only suggestion. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Very friendly owner, hospitable and service minded, nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere, good breakfast. Nice room, very pretty and spacious. Nice to have bathrobes. We would definitely come back.

Window in bathroom could not close properly, very cold. Also, I missed proper duvets or at least a warm blanket on the bed - it was cold with only a sheet and a bedspread.

Family room was comfortable and very clean. Great breakfast - attentive service. Location perfect for the eurostar journey next morning. Would stay there again when in the area.

The host was bending on her back to make us feel confortable despite the poor weather, the room was nice and cosy and the breakfast was fabulous. We greatly appreciated the good advice for dinner as well. All in all, a great place to stay and relax.

The friendliness. Continental breakfast very good. Room warm and comfortable. On overnight stay only en route to Dover Castle. Highly recommended.

Christine was very friendly and concerned to ensure everthing was in order and I was comfortable.

There was no landline in the room so my partner and I could not have a good quality conversation once I had arrived (I do of course realise that this just adds 'cost' to the hotel).

Room very comfortable ,Breakfast good but no bread or toast was offerd.Very freandly.

The staff is nice and their priority is our comfort. The Downsview is a quiet place close to the town centre.

I wish they could offer dinner...

The owners were so accomodating, particularly as we were delayed due to traffic and weather. They upgraded us and made arrangements for very late check in. Breakfast was great too!

I cannot praise Downsview highly enough. The owners were very friendly and attentive, the accomodation was first rate and on a par with many hotels charging much much more

The staff is very very friendly, always ready to help. We really felt at home indeed ! Appartment very clean and comfortable, the hotel is very well maintained, comfortable and warm. Next to Downsview, there is Restaurant Conningbrook = very nice staff also and the menu for kids (5,95€) proposes 3 interesting choices for the 3 courses ! :o) We will recommend Downsview to everyone, either families or business travelers.

On the website it is not clearly mentionned that 4 pounds is for the continental breakfast ; the english typical one which is perfectly prepared and served ! :o)) is at 8 pounds.
