Fabulous,

“ Staff, rooms, closeness to the theme park. Especially liked that there were train tracks in the dining area for kids to play, but there should have been more tables of these set up as kids started to fight over the one at breakfast. ”

It's great for families with children as its made very easy to eat etc! Also the joining bedrooms are fantastic x Don't feel it's great that we had a hen party on the same floor who managed to keep the whole family awake with there screaming and the fact they thought it would be funny to knock on bedroom doors and run away! Feel that maybe the hotel should have some rules as it all started at 1am :-(

Went to Thomasland so hotel was convenient. Thought the engines on each floor was great idea. The playground in the back was lovely No midweek childrens entertainment which was disappointing especially for the amount of small kids around hotel. Also need another tank engine wooden table in the reception area as alot of kids around 1.

We very much enjoyed every thing at this hotel. We found it very family orientated, the out side area with the park is lovely. The grill inn was a welcome place to eat, , the location was perfect for the use of Drayton park. We didn't find any thing negative about this lovely hotel .

Room Breakfast Too many waiters and waitresses getting in each others way e.g. being asked 3 times by different waiters whether we wanted a drink when we had already ordered one. Same applied to the meal. However, they were doing their best to help.

Staff, rooms, closeness to the theme park. Especially liked that there were train tracks in the dining area for kids to play, but there should have been more tables of these set up as kids started to fight over the one at breakfast. No free wifi - we are in 2013, I don't think it would cost the hotel more to provide this as a free service and your customers will be pleasantly surprised and impressed. Breakfast could have had some happy food for the kids, pancakes (in the shape of Thomas or other trains or the Controllers, etc.) or waffles, strawberries etc.

Very good location for family with kids especially if you are planning to visit Drayton Manor Theme park. The hotel arranges some entertainment for children after the theme park closes and it has a nice garden with play area. The hotel is generally child friendly. Nothing I can think of.

V close to park. ( We were Able to go and quickly change after our soaking on the ride storm force). If you lucky to go on a day the park decides to extend the closing can go have a break from queuing and come back late then we walked on rides such as G force. Shame park do not decide until late on the day so unable to plan. Comfortable beds good quiet A.C. Nice outdoor play area and smart comfy outdoor furniture in bar area to overlook this. Evening meal disappointing nearly an hour wait some meals bland . Garlic flat bread had to be sent back have , one side toasted the other side v cold from the freezer. Then charged for it although was taken off when we complained. Would definitely recommend hotel let's quests into the park rides one hour before rest of the park guests . Since late opening for a park (1030) long queues for many of the rides develop v quickly. Would certainly add to the appeal of staying there .

Dining room staff location to the park Drayton Manor Park, the staff were not very friendly or helpful and the reception staff were not dressed very smart.I booked a family room with a double and two single beds, but was informed after complaining that they do not have such rooms, except for the Thomas Tank themed rooms which were a lot more money. We had a very disturbed night as my two grand children have never slept in the same bed as anyone before which made for a very tired two year old visiting the park the next morning. We also felt the breakfast was very basic and not very child friendly, Regards Linda Carty

Hotel was clean and tidy we could leave the car in the over flow car park whilst we went into the park Fruit Machines by the lift in a four star hotel ???? not really a great look, in fact that really put me off from staying again Too many smokers outside, not nice Car park Full, no directions to over flow car park!! Staff at breakfast were not really helpful, no one told us where the buffet was. It looked like a lot of staff (miserable teenage boys) all stood around not actually doing anything trying to look really important.

Brilliant hotel for families, we struggle to find a room to accommodate our large family but the adjoining room was perfect for us. Room was spotless and very modern. Reception were very helpful and the maid arrived promptly when our son was ill over the bed. Breakfast was lovely, full English, fruit, cereal, cheese, yogurts, croissants, toast and preserves. A stones throw from the park and I would recommend returning for a second day if you don't manage to get everything done the first day - you can get in for £12 on day 2 (£5 for toddlers) and under 2s go free.

My daughter and her husband held their wedding reception at Drayton Manor Hotel, it was beautiful from start to finish, the staff were wonderful, the food was wonderful all of the weekend was wonderful. My only disappointment was the fact that we had to be out of our room by 10.30 in the morning, know you are extremely busy but 11 would have been better.

The accessability to all amenities and the efficiency of the services we used and the willingness of the reception staff particularly going the extra mile. Nothing, our stay was one of the best we have had as a family for many years.
