Staff were helpful and friendly.
Well situated, walking distance from town centre. Clean, comfortable with all amenities (tea, coffee,tv,en suite, wifi) Breakfast fine, didn't have evening meal.
Comfortable bed, very quiet, good location
The sheets smelled of cigarette smoke and the whole room smelled a bit smokey. Breakfast wasn't very good.
Cheapest bed in town at time of booking, and, FOR THE PRICE, very good value. Recently refurbished, clean, and adequate breakfast. Ticked all the boxes. Great location in town too.
Punters who book a room above a boozer & then complain they are staying in a room above a boozer!
Not being a quiet boring old place but full of life and when needed off to bed up the staircase, back to the dream world...
Made to feel welcome on arrival room and bathroom good size and clean Breakfast good not too much which isn't a bad thing in the morning Bar has sky sports and lovely bar staff
Being lazy there is no lift but it only has 2 floors to drag yourself up after a days work
Customer service was excellent. Very helpful and smiling staff. Great value for money and very nice place to stay. Very impressed indeed!
Staff very friendly. Even though the pub was exceptionally busy there was no noise at all in the bedroom.
the staff were luvly and very helpful
nothing, really enjoyed our stay
Staff warm friendly and efficient. Breakfast fantastic Cleanliness exceptionally good Town shopping and facilities very good Will definitely stay again
I suffer from a bad back and the bed was a little too soft for me. Although I am sure it would be perfectly acceptable for someone with a normal back.
The room was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities (which I needed after a long day). There were plenty of restaurants etc. in the near vicinity giving me plenty of choice for an evening meal. Cooked breakfast is served from 7am onwards meaning those of us who have any early start can wake up with a good start to the day.
In order to get free parking during your stay you MUST park outside the hotel but there are only limited spaces.
Staff were really helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Convenient to town centre.
Parking can be difficult if the hotel is full.
Noisy - thin walls. Could hear guy on phone next door then snoring. Kept awake by hotel fan and the loo filling up.
Great place to relax and location was excellent for touring to the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Peninsula..The staff in the hotel were very helpful and made our stay most enjoyable..We had secure parking at the rear of the hotel for our motorcycles..
No problems at all..
Able to have breakfast at 7.00am
Excellent breakfast. The rooms have been re-furbished and were very nice. The staff were very helpful.
Those using the out-door smoking area were somewhat loud, and some of the rooms are directly above this area.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, location excellent, breakfast was spot on.
Bed was not good, no where to put a laptop and the screaming, yawping drunk women (?) were rather annoying when trying to sleep (thats being polite)
Cutlery Bar entrance Décor Bathroom Safety of kettle due to location of sockets Noise from bar
friendly run place and very nice place to stay. clean and fresh.breakfast very nice
noisy at weekends and maybe new beds they were comfortable but noisy.
the breakfast lay out was fantastic and thr room was very clean
there was nothing that i didnt like
Black mold around bath and shower. Walking through crowded drunks at bar to get to rooms upstairs. Having to listen to people in beer garden outside until past midnight.
Staff friendly, rooms clean, breakfast good.
Noisy in the extreme, including shouting and brawling in the next room until around 2am. Frightening!
Exceptionally friendly staff
Room above smoking area, luckily not many smokers out!
Excellent breakfasts friendly staff nice restaurant room clean accommodation and bedding liked having TV with DVD player
very basic rooms. Could be noisy from the public bar area in the evenings as our room was not too far away from smoking area below. The room was quite dark as it looked out on to a grey wall. I think if you were only staying one or two nights it would be fine but we booked for seven days.
