Clean room's location
Dated fixtures and fittings. Thin wall's This hotel is in need of an update.
Good location and good posiiton for lake boat trip and lovely shops.
The location, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is nice and clean, we would stay again.
Very good breakfasts, friendly staff. Excellent restaurant for dinner.
Staff pleasant, comfortable surroundings, enjoyed our stay
Town didn't have much to do
With the booking offer it was a good price. Comfortable, clean, free wi-fi.
It is a big complex so don't expect a charming hotel.
Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water.
Very poor breakfast. Low quality cheap food and everything ran out just after 9am with no more food forth coming.
Some of the staff are trying very hard and are friendly enough. Breakfast was very acceptable with plenty of choice and fresh.
Room was dank, dismal, dirty and carpet was stained. Cobwebs on window and light fitting that I requested to be removed. While we were out it was done but someone stood on the bed to clean the light fitting and all the dirt was lying on the bed!!!! The bathroom was clean enough but a throw back to the seventies. We were offered another room but this was in an annex at the back of the hotel and although the room was bigger it was still dank and dismal and again the carpet was stained. Bathroom was a bit better but some blue mould in and around the shower. Beds are small singles and are cheap, low to the floor with cheap uncomfortable mattresses. Once the duvet got any body heat there was a rather unpleasant smell. We went for a meal in the restaurant, again the staff and service was ok and the food although not anywhere near the best we have had it was edible. This is most definately not a three star hotel.
buffet breakfast plates cold lateness in servicing room (3pm)
The location was great, so central, the Loch Ness tour shuttle picked us up at the door - and breakfast was included and also great!
No problems at all.
food excellent big choice very friendly staff nice dining room
nowhere to sit after meal and have a drink with friends. short of tables when busy for breakfast
Nice staff, quiet place.
It was like staying in a Swedish sauna the shower was useless and the bed when we got in we rolled together in the middle
The staff was really cool.
The room´s hotel need a new look.
Most things apart from those mentioned
No sound on TV BBC 1 Problem with no antislip mat in bath
Efficient service Clean room Food was acceptable for evening meal and breakfast
Condition of building fabric was poor Entrance to room #2 building had rotten wood that was not repaired and evience of water ingress Building condition in general was shabby
Food and Staff very good.
Rooms are dated, bed was very hard.
Not very much. WiFi worked!
Room dull bathroom 70's avocado suite. Bed very soft. Room was above the "smoking area" for the bar staff!
Quiet, good location, our dog was allowed to stay in room with us, good parking
Our lodge room smelt very damp, bit dated
Staff were efficient and attentive. The room was impressively clean & attractively decorated. The location, as well as the quality of the food and service were highly satisfactory.
Economies appear to have been made regarding basic facilities. It is the only 5-star hotel room I've ever seen that had no clock. The television was analogue only, and therefore merely a useless ornament. The room appears to have been furnished from a pound shop, the bed in particular being usable but hardly comfortable: certainly not woth the £95 I paid.
We could only stay for one day...unfortunately. The staff were excellent, the location was amazing and we took a great boat tour of Loch Ness. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland and Scotland. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and had a great atmosphere.
We got there about 9pm and there were no restaurants open. That would be my only concern.
Friendly staff especially Dimitri and Hugo who served us at breakfast. They were most helpful.
No lift all stairs
Next to everything. Lochness exhibition, pick up for boat ride on loch ness, beautiful location.
Noisy floor and can hear plumbing when neighbouring rooms are using it.
Room was really grotty, especially the bathroom
