The staff were very friendly. The room was pretty filthy. The bathroom in particular needs refurbished. Part of the shower head was broken off. The 2 glasses in the room were dirty and I had to wash them before I could use them. There were stains on the bedding, although the bed itself was comfortable. The tv service was poor too - very small, only 6 channels, and the remote control has seen better days.

The Bed, and the staff were very helpful I paid £45 for a room which included breakfast, the breakfast didn't start till 8.00am which was for me was to late so I got cereal delivered to the room the night before. If I had known this at the time of booking I would have booked the Loch Ness Backpackers which my friends did and saved some money. After walking 22 miles the first thing I wanted after checking in was a hot shower however the shower gel bottle was empty so I had to use the normal saop cream which was okay but not the same

The rate was very reasonable. Room was bit weathered, but clean. Dinner at the hotel restaruant was good. Touristy shops on site to help you find your Scotland souveniers to take home. It is an older hotel, next to the Loch Ness Monster exhibit. It is not a bad place to spend the night, but certainly there are more charming B&B hotels in Scotland. As long as you set your expectations accordingly, it is ok.

It was very near of the lovely village of Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. It is the worse hotel I have never been in my live. Small an dirty rooms. The bathroom smells because of the humidity. The kettles was out of work, they said that it will be chage for one new, but it never happened. The breakfast was reheated.

Proximity to points of interest Front desk can do some re-training on being warmly welcoming. The hotel should not advise that it has "laundry" when nearest laundry, according to reception, is more than 13 miles away. Also, when accepting reservation for room on "first floor," we knew it wouldn't be on the "ground floor" but we certainly didn't expect three full flights of stairs to be conquered. A lift is almost essential in this establishment, since nearly all guests are our ages or more. We managed, but saw others who were struggling.

The room we had was very small, no views whatsoever, very tired looking hotel have stayed at better guest houses rather than a place advertised as a hotel, breakfast was fine although limited time period and evening meals finished serving at 8pm. Receptionist was very pleasant as were the breakfast staff however the restuarant staff in the evening need to have some training!

The location of the hotel was good and the exterior appearance of the hotel is very characterful. The room was dirty and cold. The bathroom was dirty. The overall appearance was shabby. The food in the hotel was overpriced for what it was and there was very little of it.

The hotel is very well situated with beautiful views from the restaurants across the valley and only a couple of minutes walk from the village green. The room was small but very comfy. Our room was part of a little chalet type house at the back of the hotel - very peaceful and made us feel like we had our own little place. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We only stayed for breakfast but it was excellent and served with a smile! I would've loved there to have been a bath in the room as well as a shower.

It's located just next to the Loch Ness Visitors Centre so it's the perfect place to explore the Loch. Deepscan Cruises, which can be booked at the hotel are also a great experience and the Captiain was awesome!

“Very friendly hostess. Organised and efficient. Built a fire for us in the community room and kept it stoked providing an atmosphere without us asking. The community room also had a nice TV with a selection of movies. There was also a nice collection of information detailing activities. Provided a nice list of breakfast items which could be selected from.” Christopher, Spokane |
