The Loch Ness Inn is conveniently located between Drumnadrochit and Urquhart Castle in the village of Lewiston, near the Great Glen Way. It offers cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The Glen Mhor Apartments offer luxury serviced accommodation just a few metres from River Ness. The apartments offer a laundry service and are less than a mile from Inverness Rail Station.
Score from 285 reviews Good
This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the Ness River and Inverness Castle.
Score from 679 reviews Good
Staff friendly and welcoming, room large and well equipped, a good breakfast to set you up for the day.
Nothing to not like.
No-hassle processing of check-in and checkout process. Prompt, efficient meal service.
Wafer-thin walls between rooms makes it hard to settle down for the night unless other guests talk in whispers. Better soundproofing would help.
Location, allowance of pet and little cottage style.
No one at the reception when checking in, I had to look around for staff! The toilet seat was broken, bathroom can be cleaner. staff went in my room before checking out, luckily my dog didn't run away.
Good hotel near Loch Ness. There's Urquhart Castle. Friendly stuff.
I was treated to a nice double room away from any noise. Comfy bed in a decent sized room. G Good evening meals and breakfasts and advice on local walks. Close to Glen Affric, brilliant for photos. Good location. Nessie Exhibition was terific, very fair and informative.
The building maybe 30 years old and the decor has seen better days. They get a band in on Friday nights, but nearby places will serve good meals too.
Clean room's location
Dated fixtures and fittings. Thin wall's This hotel is in need of an update.
Good location and good posiiton for lake boat trip and lovely shops.
Great friendly staff, and the hotel was clean.
In need of refurbishment, last decorated in the 1970, nice avocado bathroom suite. Walls of the room had no sound proofing, so we were woken many times through the night. Also no view of the loch from the hotel, thought the picture on the Web site was a little miss leading.
The location, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is nice and clean, we would stay again.
When we checked in we noticed the light in the landing area going up the stairs was not working. We told the female receptionist and she said she would get an electrician out the next day. I said you don't need an electrician to change a light bulb, she used the old excuse about "health and safety" that they must use an electrician to do such a job. In the end when we checked out two days later the light bulb was still not changed. We asked the maid to come back 30 minutes later to clean the room. She never came back. Consequently we had to ask for clean towels and a toilet roll (it was only 1/2 a roll when we checked in). The room smelt of dampness and stale. We could not open the window as the cafe staff used that outside area to smoke. The staff (reception and cafe) were not rude, but definitely not friendly.
Very good breakfasts, friendly staff. Excellent restaurant for dinner.
Great staff and public areas excellent
Annex room 3. Desparately needs redecoration if only a coat of paint. Facilities ok but felt very much like a single for single. Functional
The food was good in the restaurant and also the breakfast. The restaurant staff were very helpful and efficient.
the bedrooms in the annexe were very tired looking and sparse. the are badly needing to be updated. The walls in the bathroom were damp. The price for the room was far too dear for the accommodation.
Staff pleasant, comfortable surroundings, enjoyed our stay
Town didn't have much to do
With the booking offer it was a good price. Comfortable, clean, free wi-fi.
It is a big complex so don't expect a charming hotel.
Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water.
Very poor breakfast. Low quality cheap food and everything ran out just after 9am with no more food forth coming.
Some of the staff are trying very hard and are friendly enough. Breakfast was very acceptable with plenty of choice and fresh.
Room was dank, dismal, dirty and carpet was stained. Cobwebs on window and light fitting that I requested to be removed. While we were out it was done but someone stood on the bed to clean the light fitting and all the dirt was lying on the bed!!!! The bathroom was clean enough but a throw back to the seventies. We were offered another room but this was in an annex at the back of the hotel and although the room was bigger it was still dank and dismal and again the carpet was stained. Bathroom was a bit better but some blue mould in and around the shower. Beds are small singles and are cheap, low to the floor with cheap uncomfortable mattresses. Once the duvet got any body heat there was a rather unpleasant smell. We went for a meal in the restaurant, again the staff and service was ok and the food although not anywhere near the best we have had it was edible. This is most definately not a three star hotel.
buffet breakfast plates cold lateness in servicing room (3pm)
The location was great, so central, the Loch Ness tour shuttle picked us up at the door - and breakfast was included and also great!
No problems at all.
food excellent big choice very friendly staff nice dining room
nowhere to sit after meal and have a drink with friends. short of tables when busy for breakfast
Nice staff, quiet place.
It was like staying in a Swedish sauna the shower was useless and the bed when we got in we rolled together in the middle
The staff was really cool.
The room´s hotel need a new look.
Most things apart from those mentioned
No sound on TV BBC 1 Problem with no antislip mat in bath
