This grand hotel has a great location in the heart of Inverness, yet in a quiet area with splendid views of the River Ness and Inverness Castle.

No gym or swimming pool. No cosy bar for residents to relax in, just a lounge for coffee. No bar menu that I could find.
Traditional rooms and nice lounge for coffee. Breakfast very good.
Very weak wifi signal. The bedding/pillows WOULD have been comfortable, except they're filled with feathers which were constantly poking through and stabbing me. The toiletries were only replenished once during my 6 day stay. The staff, while very friendly, were quite inattentive (especially the dining facility staff). I had a dinner reservation for 7:30pm but wasn't seated until 8:15, they never refilled my water glass, the steak was pretty tough, especially for an 8oz that cost I think 28 Pounds. Overall, EVERY item on the menu was VERY overpriced. All the floors have hollows underneath, making even the lightest step sound like a stomp, which added to my difficulty sleeping. Lastly, beware if there's a wedding or party going on....there were a couple during my stay, and they had music cranked up echoing throughout the building and grounds until after midnight, even FURTHER hampering my ability to sleep. All in all, unless you're only there for a party/function, I would NOT recommend staying here.
Cleanliness was outstanding. Free wifi, though it had a very weak signal. My phone was less than 10 feet from the router but only had signal strength of 3 out of 4 bars. Room/bathroom/bathtub/shower sizes were very comfortably large compared to most hotels' tiny space-savers. Soap/shampoo/conditioner were provided.
No room service menu in room. No bar meal facility at after 5pm
Always relaxing, always excellent. We always leave feeling more chilled than when we arrived.
The bedsheets, the speaker in the bathroom, the fancy water
would have enjoyed eating in but found prices over the top
comfortable bed and room very clean
The bed! Could feel the springs in the mattress and didn't get much sleep! The bed needs a new mattress!
Quiet, nice setting and ideal for wedding
Delicious dinner in the dining room.
Room was cold even with heating full on. After flushing toilet had to wait 15 minutes before next flush .no heating in bathroom perishing after shower
Staff were nice and foyer area was warm and very comfortable
Poor quantity and quality of food supplied for the price paid. Serving staff disorganised.
My wife and I have stayed at the Drumossie Hotel every year since the MacDonalds bought it 10 tears ago and appreciate the welcome from the wonderful staff.
Dinner menu had very little choices although quality was very good
Nice dinner Breakfast very good Service very good
I was very disappointed about the lack of Wifi and when I mentioned this to a member of staff, the response was 'Yes, there have been a few problems with it recently'.
I was staying at the hotel to attend a wedding being held in the hotel which was great. It's just a pity the rest of my stay was not as good as the wedding. The staff in the dining room brought tea instead of coffee, brown toast instead of white toast!!!
the WiFi was functional although temperamental at times. I was staying over the Christmas period. Still managed to FaceTime my family abroad and wish them Merry Christmas!!
The hotel and staff were excellent. They are very attentive. As this was my first solo trip this year, it was very reassuring to know that they had my back. The hardest part of the trip was completing the questionnaire. It asked if I could nominate 'a' member of staff for their excellent service. How could I possibly choose.
The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and very quick served again by the same vefy friendly staff
Hotel had no record of booking from Booking.Com and receptionist had already set two members of party away!
The fan in the bathroom was noisy.
Room was lovely. Staff were very attentive and polite. Good choice at breakfast. Very atmospheric with the Christmas decorations.
It would be nice to see a safe in the room for valuables. Some of the furniture looks a wee bit tired now as well. As we stayed in Oct we used the heater in the room which was full of dust.
The staff were professional, polite and very welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. We had an evening meal which was full of flavour, tasty and looked beautiful on the plate. Nothing was a trouble for the staff to do for you.We have now stayed here 4 times and highly recommend this to others.
The service at breakfast wasn't great. Was a bit slow but the food was good.
The room was nice and comfortable.
Ni wifi in room. Electric plugs were on wall above desk so I couldn't charge my phone or lap top Very very quiet place average age 70plus ( staff excluded
Staff were excellent
Food and staff
A minor suggestion would be to keep the cooked breakfast hotter to the point of serving, but it was still very good.
Whole hotel was spacious. Comfortable lounge. First class decor with interesting prints of quality on walls. First class service from staff. Superb dinner, well up to 2 AA rosettes. Excellent breakfast. Spacious bedroom with expected facilities for a 4 star hotel.
For the money, it was spot on. If I was being picky the grouting in the shower could be fresher!
We stayed here for ease of attending a family event just up the road at Bogbain farm. The hotel was just what we expected. But surprisingly better! Lovely big comfortable room. Excellent staff and our club sandwich was up there with the best! Would not hesitate to recommend staying here.
Friendly attentitive staff with a good humour, lovely rooms to relax in and a comfy lounge. Breakfast selection excellent in the beautiful dinning room.
Was pleasantly surprised what a lovely hotel the Drumossie is.
