Drumshane House  

The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. The farm setting worked great for my children and they were very excited to help feed the animals. There was a very good restaurant 5 minutes away called Scanno's in Irvinestown. We would not hesitate to go there again.

Paul and Pat were excellent hosts. The cottage had everything we needed, Pat had even baked an apple pie when we arrived. The area had lovely views, and the dog had had a litter of pups that were just adorable.We travelled with brothers and sisters and had a great time, we are all over fifty five.

Drumshane House is a B&B located on a farm near a small village. It is a delightful place, very well appointed. The hosts are a delightful couple who go out of their way to ensure that you both enjoy your visit and get the most out of visiting this very beautiful part of Ireland. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed ourselves.

This is a lovely country property, with a farm feel. There are dogs which are very welcoming. The owner is unbelievably kind and helpful. He went to lots of trouble to help us with some family research. The breakfast was lovely. Plenty of parking and only 2k to the village for dinner.

On the website, the property is described as being in Donegal. It is, in fact in Northern Ireland, and although not far from the border, this is a little misleading. This is not a criticism of the property, just a need to know.

Pat and Paul were wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruits from the garden. The rooms were clean and pleasantly decorated. I look forward to returning again. A home from home.

The facilities were exactly as described, clean & comfortable. The owners gave us "starter" groceries which was a bonus. The views were magnificent. The location was exactly where we needed to be. We stayed for 6 days- (3 ladies) and felt like it was a "home away from home". Pat and Paul, the owners were fantastic-friendly & helpful, always available if any questions or problems.There are a lot of animals nearby-so would be great if you have children! Pat & Paul have 5 dogs-but we never heard them, & rarely saw them-until they knew we liked dogs! Also, there is Jack, the peacock across the road! He is magnificent! We very much enjoyed our visit & would stay again if we get the opportunity. We did have a car-would be difficult if you didn't have a car. It is so quiet there-lovely! I would recommend staying at Drumshane Chalet-we had a great stay!

The mattresses were not completely comfortable, but were clean & satisfactory, but if improved, could be excellent. There was only 1 bathroom- on the main level-bedrooms are upstairs-but we knew that when we booked. The futon style couch in the lounge/living area was not completely comfortable, either-& it does fold out to an extra bed-so would not be entirely comfortable if someone had to sleep on it. Again, it was clean & satisfactory, but if improved, would change our opinions to excellent! Again, I would recommend Drumshane Chalet to anyone-the benefits outweigh the mild negatives we had.

A quiet rural location ideal for enniskillen and the lakes. Irvinestown near by with pubs and restaurants. Run by a friendly couple.Food very good

The hosts made us so welcome - even offered us a lift for our night out! Very clean simple, modern room facilities. Breakfast cooked by the host was excellent.

Serene rural country home location, friendly owners

Open plan house tends to be very noisy, along with doors and floors and beds that creak. Owners do not accept credit cards in spite of what is described on the web site. This made payment difficult, needed to use euros and pounds to our disadvantage.

The friendliness of Pat and Paul the owners was great such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere it just made our stay all the more relaxing and enjoyable! I'd go back in the morning!

Really enjoyed our stay here, the owner pat was a lovely lady very welcoming and even had some bread and milk and biscuits in fridge for us upon our arrival, lovely tranquil surroundings and the rooms were spotless, they had lovely dogs which the kids fell in love with, would definately recommend this to anyone ,lovely stay and look forward to staying again soon.

Warm onthaal bij aankomst. Gezellige avondsfeer. Zeer vriendelijke en open mensen. Mooie kamers en omgeving, met alles erop en eraan. Zelfgemaakt ontbijt worsten vanop de boerderij. Het gaf ons direct een thuisgevoel en het gevoel dat we deze mensen al jaren kenden. Ook het afscheid was leuk.
