Score from 62 reviews Fabulous
Lovely food. Beautiful setting.
The room was sprayed with strong freshener which I gave an allergy to.
Quality of food and staff service
Unfortunately, there was a breakdown of the boiler which meant no hot water.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Huge comfy bed. Hot chocolate sachets.
Very small portions of food for some (not all) menu items. Toiletries not replenished after day one. Lots of dust visible on the carpet around furniture where the vacuum doesn't easily travel. Corners not cleaned in the bathroom - lone toe nail clipping from a previous guest.
Rooms were a good size. Impressed.
The service was amazing we had our wedding reception there and the staff couldn't do enough for us
Top marks for the Scottish breakfast and service with a friendly smile!!
We were part of a wedding party and the staff were very accommodating and very friendly, very nice hotel
Setting was really nice ideal for wedding although function room for it was very small. The rooms were grand and at a competitive price, hotel and staff were great addressed each male by sir witch was a nice touch but overall experience was average.
The price was fairly expensive for alcohol for what later found out the drink itself was very watered down, and a disappointment as the whole wedding party felt the same, in the end had to get doubles and triples to even taste a hint of alcohol at all. There were no optics for the drinks either and the same two bottles on vodka seemed to last the whole night witch we all found very strange.
Staff attentive and helpful
Leaking roof in conservatory
Room was lovely,gorgeous view
Guy on reception could have been a bit more cheerful. Fellow guests complained of having no hot water although we didn't have a problem
Staff were friendly and very helpfull. Lovely room which included outside seating area. Fabulous views Good food.
Walls are very thin. Kept up all night by loud guests in the next door room.
Dinner and service was excellent
Four poster creaked with every move
Hotel was ideal for wedding receptions. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Rooms were very large.
The position is in a secluded position you do need transport to get around. Breakfast was so expensive at £11.95. The cost of the drinks were expensive, Bottle of wine costing £16.95.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice gardens but not enough seats out there
It was very hot weather and my room was very small and the heated towel rail was on but i did not realise till the morning. Large window opened inwards into the room so had to move everything to open the window.
Staff, food, location, they take dogs which is a major thing for us
The Irish wedding party where our room was in the middle if theirs and the noise went on till the early hours, they took all the outside furniture and were sat outside smoking, so on one of the warmest days we could not have the windows open. We also had to keep our 2 dogs from barking at all the noises. Plus people kept trying to access our room as they had the wrong number.
Quiet locatio with good simple food
Liked it all (see above)
An excellent venue with wonderfull staff. Thank you.
Tjere is nothing negative to say about this hotel.
The site and pastoral surroundings. The super staff. The gourmet food.
as we have a dog. were not sure on the situation but did not need to worry as the whole experiance was very very good. thanks to all staff and room service was a ++++++
paid for breakfast and paper next morning , woke late and as we en route to location on Loch Earn had to leave, were not advised that payment had been taken for breakfest and paper didnt check invoice but maybe my fault for not bringing to the attention of reception. wouldnt have been a problem if explained. small point but a very small ammount of shine taken off stay otherwise great.
