Friendliness of the staff, the hotels location and the food. Probably the best Best Western hotel I have stayed in. Room overlooked a wall, but as I was only there for 1 night on business, so it was not a problem. |

Staff was courteous, room was comfortable, food was excellent. Made for a very convenient and relaxing stay. Good home base for exploring the Scottish Borders. |

The food in this hotel was great, we were made very welcome by Glen, the manager. I cant think of anything negative about this hotel. |

The best "Best Western" I have stayed at. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, good food. Lovely surroundings.I felt at home here. If anything, it was a bit quiet for me but that is hardly a criticism. |

The location and freindly environment Food was very good but a little expensive, wine was costly as well, this was used as a stop over on a weeks visit to The Highlands |

We have stayed at this hotel quite a few times and cannot recommend it highly enough , the staff are among the friendliest anywhere and treat you as person and not a number which is very pleasant .. |

loved the location and the staff made us feel very welcome - there was a wedding on the night of our stay but they made sure our room was far enough away from any noise |

Wi-fi came in useful, ample parking, quiet location Given fact that some sooms apparently offer fantastic views I was a bit disappointed to be given a room with a frosted glass window facing a wall ! |

The service was good. The location was good. The size and decor was good. The bed was very bad. Whilst the room itself had a knig size bed - 2 singles together. The mattress was extremely hard - unable to sleep. The pillows were also of poor quality. The bed would have benifitted from either a better quality mattress or a mattress topper of some kind. The pillows too were poor quality and did not offer us an opportunity to change. Sheets were good quality thread count but let down by mattress and pillows. |

My husband and I had a lovely relaxing stay. The staff provided us with everything we need and were extremely courteous. The views and surroundings of the hotel were out of this world and I look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future. |

the good attitude of all hotel staff and the overall stay with friends relaxing - with excellent service and food. Good value and would choose again for a longer stay to explore the area on my next visit to Scotland. |

Situated just 10 miles north of Gretna and well located in a scenic area of south-west Scotland, Kirkconnel Hall is a magnificent 15th century manor set in extensive gardens and grounds. |
Right in the very heart of Dumfries, this popular hotel is close to all local amenities including the fabulous new DGone leisure venue, the Odeon cinema and the Theatre Royal. |
Standing proud within its 3 acres of landscaped gardens, this family-run hotel is close to the M74 motorway, complete with ample parking and children's play area. |
