We had a room upgrade which was great. Breakfast is amazing and the staff were lovely.
Bar service can be a little slow.
All rooms a good size with luxury amenities, bathrobes, slippers, rolltop baths good value, nice ambience.
Sofas and chairs in public areas low, requiring a heavho to get out of and I'm fairly fit.
Great decor, rooms really well laid out. Complimentarily upgraded upon arrival which was a nice surprise. The bar was very nice however the drinks a little expensive. Breakfast in the morning was extremely good, both the cooked breakfast and the country breakfast.
Had to pay additional parking charges for the hotel car park.
The decor of the hotel and the way it was presented was amazing! The lounge area was a great place to relax and have a drink
The pricey breakfast
Arrived Monday evening had room service was violently ill overnight and had to extend stay through sickness for an additional day. The hotel did discount the food though when I advised them of the awful experience and wasted day, but it cost me another day and the sickness was awful.
Bistro - excellent Food Spa facilities Friendly staff Location
Quality of food and nice comfy hotel
For an expensive room we expected the view to be a little bit better than a fence panel outside the window
good bedrooms and bathrooms.Very good breakfast.
We upgraded to the Moët suite on the third floor. Apart from being a bit too warm it was superb in every way.
We had dinner in the restaurant & frankly the presentation was awful. My slow cooked beef was inedible.
Staff were friendly and location of hotel with parking was excellent.
Friendly staff, clean comfy rooms. Menu reasonably priced and a good selection.
Bang in town centre
Over priced and so attention need in some rooms!
Location, can do and friendly attitude of the staff, standard of food, over all ambience .
Didn't like the first room we were given. End of coridoor, down stairs /upstairs and pokey view on to a roof top through a tiny window. Felt like a 'last room in the house offer'. Would also like some simple coffee/ hot chocolate sachets to go with the kettle.
The pregnant girl on reception was lovely, very helpful.
Dressing gowns were a bit ratty. Pillows were too soft.
Good food;good room facilities;friendly and helpful staff
Gents' loo for communal areas a marathon distance from those areas. At my age, that needs a sprint to get there in time. And at my age, sprinting is no longer within my capacity.
My room was great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was superb
Absolutely everything was brilliant. Could not find anything wrong at all. Location 10/10 Room10/10 Bed10/10 Staff 10/10 Food 10/10 Spa 10/10 Parking 10/10 Thoroughly enjoyed every minute we spent here. Totally relaxed. Staff were fantastic. Could not be more helpful. Restaurant was amazing. Food incredible. Will most Definately be visiting again. Have told all my friends and family to visit also. PERFECT
Nothing to complain about at all.
We loved the location of the hotel. It is so central and very near all the shops, bars & resturants. The room was very comfortable, with a lovely huge bed. Just a really lovely place to stay.
The reception wasn't staffed very well, and we were kept waiting quite a while to check in as there was only one girl on the reception desk and she was on the phone for quite a while.
Good location. Friendly staff.
No hot water in the morning. Very noisy room by the lift. Very hot room, even with heating off and window open.
We loved the sophisticated surroundings of a first-class place to stay.
Great location modern boutique hotel. Unexpected upgrade on arrival - fab :) £85 a complete bargain. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great central location - everything in walking distance.
Not so good slightly smelly drains in bathroom, mattress not that comfy we both woke up with backache and unexpected £10 charge for parking on check out which was cheeky as not explained on arrival.
location, quality of room.
room too warm.
Great location, slightly quirky hotel but definitely not bland. Brilliant shower.
Silly little things- no music facility in room, leaky shower head.
Rooms were large, clean and comfortable
Food not good at all, and both food and drinks out priced!
