For the money I paid I expected a great hotel with superb service. It was OK, but only OK. More attention to detail is needed. Plus I couldnt check in until 16:10.

What a cool place to stay...gorgeous. We felt comfortable and local staff all excellent. Expensive but worth it.

The hotel was astonishing in every way. It was the best hotel I have stayed in, and I've stayed in many! The staff couldn't do enough for us, and we felt like one of the family during the two days we were there. We'll be back as soon as possible!

It was a bit noisy during the night. Not sure if it was the Metro or boiler or ... something kept me awake!

From arrival to departure the staff were all excellent. The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout and everything during our stay was first class. We will be back.

Staff were excellent, attentive but not intrusive. A credit to Hotel du vin. Hotel in an ideal position to Quayside and very comfortable.

Comfrtable elegance and staff so helpful,warm and friendly. The food was delicious and the room amazing. My daughter is studying Architecture at Northumbria and v inspired by the whole build of the Hotel; we'll return!

Breakfast a bit pricey so I fear we ate out but dinner excellent.

Lack of parking

Great location, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Exceptionally clean. Relaxing and cosy bar area. Unfortunately arrived too late to enjoy the fantastic restaurant and wine choice on offer. Note to self..."arrive earlier next time".

Parking was sparce. Difficult to see at night, poorly lit resulting in driving past several times. These are minor points. Just to be aware of for new guests to consider.

A most pleasant welcome. Excellent friendly staff throughout. The food in the brasserie is imaginative and beautifully prepared - wonderful! Within a few minutes walk of quayside bars.

Front rooms have river view but main road position can be noisy so best to ask for a room overlooking the inner courtyard, though no real view from these.

Good location and friendly/helpful staff.

Slight issue with cleanliness in so far as there were a couple of cobwebs on the ceiling of the bedroom and hairs in the bath. Also I feel that car parking should not be an extra although I apprecaited that many hotels no charge for this facility.

Have to pay for breakfast, have booked room with breakfast by booking,com. Reception say that I have payed for room without breakfast. Metro line under the ground, I night wake up many times, was thinking that I slept in metro sation. The map on booking.com is not corectly, hotel is far outside centre.

The staff were very efficient and warm. The breakfast (Eggs Benedict) was amazing

No Parking, but I managed to park opposite so not really an issue, paint work in room could have had a touch up, but nothing major

Was really impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, this was apparent as soon as you walked in the door. We were upgraded to deluxe room which was lovely and very spacious with lovely roll top bath and enormous shower. The breakfast was very good value for money. Very comfortable lounge to sit and have a quiet drink.

A little further from the town centre than I thought it was going to be.

A unique, well designed hotel with some of the best facilities I have experienced in a hotel for a long time. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food and drink throughout was excellent. The location was quiet and peaceful, so although it was only a short walk to the city centre and nightlife, we were not disturbed at any point in the evening. We could not have asked for a better hotel.
