I booked a dubble room but tht room was like a box room even smaller thn a single.
Nothing I like about tht hotel
Lovely staff, Clean room, comfy beds!
Good location, Close to tube (Clapham South) Handy for Brixton academy concerts. If you just want somewhere to sleep for £50 then it is acceptable enough.
Tiny Room (double bed with 6" space at end and about 12" space at the side) , TV in room not working, toilet seat not attached & bathroom floor tiles broken
The location of the hotel, was ideal, as it was only within walking distance of family living in Clapham
The fact that you had to pay £10 per day for parking, we felt that this was far too expensive, as there was only parking space for two cars at the front of the hotel.
The worst thing abou the hotel is that the rooms are EXTREMELY small. So small that two people cannot stand in the room at the same time. One of them has to stay on the bed if the other wants to get dressed. The price you pay in exchange is totally NOT worth it. In addition THERE ARE NO WINDOWS IN THE ROOM. Well there are but they do no open to outside but rather to a hallway! I would definitely not recommend this hotel.
Hoover on early children running up and down corridor shouting and screaming
Friendly staff, no problem with changing rooms (room with one big bed -> room with two separated beds). Close to the city centre, close to the underground, Tesco and Sainsbury's on the way between underground and hotel.
The location is fairly close to Clapham South tube station. Staff were helpful. OK by Central London standards and for that price.
The room had a smell of cigarettes and was rather cramped. Decor needs an upgrade.
All about the location this place for me, right next to clapham tube station, easy to get to brixton, would stay again due to location if couldnt find anything better
booked a twin room but was given a double, considering was staying with a male friend it wasnt the most convenient, room was tiny too, didnt get a lot of room for the money paid, plus wrong bed, tried to arrange some discount in the morning after i had checked my booking, reception lady said she would give discount on a return booking, and let us use the baggage store for free so made up for the mess up with check in
5 sq mt room. The bed occupied all the space. No place to put anything! Forget it!!!
central location and beautiful view from my room. After I booked the room, I read the reviews and scared me off, the reviews were dreadful but it was completly ok and more that what I expected.I would book again
To many beds in one room and very narrow stair case
The room was damp so we asked to be moved, however the hotel was booked up so we had to move the following day but they made us check out at 11 and come back at 3 for the new room! So we were left without a room for basically a day even though we had paid for it! When we came back for our new room no one in the hotel knew what was going on! Then they gave us a 3 person room when we had a group of four! Also on 2 mornings the clearness knocked to ask were we checking out! On both occasions this was approximately 9am, firstly check out is 11 and secondly they should clearly know when guests are checking out and shouldn't be knocking and asking!
Staff on reception helpful. Clean.
Bedroom not tended to on 2 night stay. Tired decor.
TV did not work and hanging off wall dangerously. Telephone did not work. No storage space. No water pressure in shower. No plug in sink.No shower gel.Room 8002, I complained to reception first morning and was ignored. I intend contacting trading standards
rooms, service, etc.
Location is right beside Clapham Common with lots of nice eateries and bars. Staff were pleasant.
The hotel is very dated and suffers from poor ventilation and strange smells. Our room was tiny and really just a place to sleep in.
Rooms (8006) so small not even a coat hook, let alone a coat hanger, or a chair or a shelf large enough for a laptop
The carpet of my room 8B was soaking wet.
Good sized room with excellent facilities and wonderful shower in clean and good sized bathroom. The bed was a dream to sleep on as normally I have trouble with my back...working TV and fan...tea making facilities, helpful staff
Rations for tea and coffee were a little sparce and no white sugar so tea wasn't too nice with brown
This hotel had the smallest room and smallest bathroom. There was no room for suitcases or to walk around. We had to change rooms 3 times as the first had one bed- the second was so musty and damp the bed sheets were wet. Definitely the worst hotel I ever stayed at.
Very cheap price, no long walk to the underground station. Also a supermarket not far away.
Rooms are very old, the beds are a bit uncomfortable.
The location and that was all
The smell of the room, the wet floors, there was never staff there to help
Close to the tube.
Wifi real bad. did not work during 3 days. Far from Victoria station
Good location for where we wanted to be
central heating wasnt on at night and was cold. Didn't have any other kind of heating so the guessed could use if cold
Good location, quiet, bathroom clean
Tiny room, no space to put anything. no bedside light
